FOLLOWIN pH Up and Down Control Kit for Hydroponics and Soil Gardens

This is so easy to use and balance the ph in my fish tank. House water tends to be to high alkalinity so adding even soft water does not change this. This test is just a little tube of water and a drop of testing solution....more accurate than test strips. A must have for keeping fish and plants happy.

My husband originally bought this kit about a month ago to help us regulate the pH of the water for our houseplants. We are on well water here, and the levels can be pretty unpredictable, so having a reliable way to stabilize it has been great. We’ve been using it consistently, and so far, it’s been working exactly as it should to keep the water at an adequate level for the plants to stay healthy. The chemical content is effective but easy to manage—a few drops of the "Up" or "Down" solution and we're good to go. In terms of use and ease of use, the included dropper makes it very simple to get a precise measurement without any mess. I was specifically worried about leakage, but the bottles are sturdy, and the caps seal tightly, so we haven't had a single drip or spill in the cabinet. For the price, the value for money is excellent because the solutions are concentrated; this kit is going to last us a very long time. The durability of the packaging feels high-quality, and it’s a relief to have a consistent solution for our well water issues. Definitely worth it if you want to stop guessing about your water quality!

Ph up and down is required if you're doing Hydroponics because you have to test the water everyday and adjust accordingly so you will need both value for your money there was no leakage during delivery easy to use understandable instructions also comes with a measuring cup which makes it extremely easy

The product is fine but all of it fell out of the box during shipping.

Does nothing for lowering Ph . Very poor instructions. And not for testing soil .

I picked this pH control kit up to help manage water levels for my plants, and overall it’s been pretty useful once you get the hang of it. The adjustability is solid. You can dial things in pretty precisely by adding small amounts at a time, which makes it easier to avoid overcorrecting. I was able to get my water into a better range without too much guesswork after a couple tries. The ease of use is good. The testing process is simple, and once you understand how the drops affect your water, it becomes pretty straightforward. It’s not complicated, just takes a little patience at first. The effect on water content is noticeable, but it’s not super strong. You may need to use more solution than expected, especially if your starting pH is far off, which can go through the bottles a bit faster. The durability of the bottles is decent. They feel sturdy enough and seal well, though I did notice one cap needed to be tightened carefully to avoid any small drips. I didn’t have any major leakage issues, but I can see how it could happen if the caps aren’t fully secured. It’s something to keep an eye on when storing them. It works across different setups, which is nice. I used it for basic plant watering, but it would also work for hydro setups or other uses. The included testing solution is helpful for getting a quick read, though it’s more of a basic indicator than something super precise. For the price, the value for money is decent, especially as a starter kit, but if you need something stronger, you might go through it quicker than expected. Overall, this is a good entry-level option for managing pH levels, just be prepared to use a bit more solution to get the results you want.

Only reason I'm writing this review is to inform hydroponics growers that the ph down doesn't stabilize in a rdwc very well. The ph up so far seems to work but went through almost whole bottle of oh down trying to keep my pH between 5.5-6.3 pH seemed to drift up to 7.2ph constantly finally after most of the bottle over the course of multiple days it went to 6.8 at max. Used a different pH down from the local pet store and it solved it and actually overshot the minimum and had to use ph up. Seems fine now but just didn't work for me, doesn't seem to stabilize the mixture of nutrients very well. For a pool it might work fine or maybe a fish tank. With all the nutrients in my system it apparently couldn't handle it. This is just for hydroponics only could work fine in other applications.
