DC Miniature Circuit Breaker, 2 Pole 1000V 63 Amp Isolator for Solar PV System, Thermal Magnetic Trip, DIN Rail Mount, Chtaixi DC Disconnect Switch C63

We installed these to be a quick disconnect for our solar panels. It's doing It's job and was easy to install.

i'm using these between a set of solar panels wired in series-parallel and what has quickly become my most favorite compact Victron Solar Charge Controller, especially at its more recent favorable price (this one: https://amzn.to/3JhCLgR). I have found these miniature circuit breakers do the job perfectly: they are easy to install using the provided DIN rail and screws, easy to slide on/off or clip on/off to the rail while working with the cabling, and while a few other reviewers have mentioned cable grip, I have been fortunate, and have found the breaker to grip the cables well. It is important when purchasing breakers like these to consider size matching to ensure that the gauge of cable being used is an appropriate size for not only the electrical requirements of the system, but also for the cable slots in both the charge controller and the circuit breaker. PRO TIP: it is also important to carefully strip the wire ends to a proper length. The goal is adequate exposure to the terminals and terminal clamps, but not more than that. With both these breakers and the Victron charge controller, I was able to use 6AWG cable, stripped back about one-half inch, and the cables seated cleanly and firmly. Overall, not only is it a best-practice to safeguard your solar setup with proper breakers and/or fuses, it also makes it more convenient, safer, and provides some peace-of-mind when you need to work with it. I bought this as a part of my solar generator. It was very easy to set up and works well. Overall it is a good product it just feels cheaply made. The housing separated a little when I tightened the screws.

The brand has plenty of option and good quality. i have no complants. Have bought several for my Solar systems.

I replaced another brands circuit breaker that failed at 450 volts and less than 15 amps that was rated for 1000 volts and 30 amps with this one and so far it seems to be fine, the extra amp rating is hopefully good enough to not melt another breaker.

Nice and small breaker. Used it to cut power from solar panels to charge controller. All the items required for installation were included.

Breaker is as described, cept the din rail mount was not included, only the breaker

On time delivery. Item is nice but item is not new (see pics & vid), plus missing 2 screws.

Description said it came with a DIN rail and screws, but only received the breaker. With nothing to mount it on returned the breaker.

The DIN mounting bracket, included with the breaker, is missing. I received a uses/returned item.
