Fortunately, I've had no need to use the product, but I'm highly confident that the vet wouldn't recommend a product of anything but top drawer quality.The tube is sized like a lipstick or chap-stick and light in weight making it easy to use if needed. It will not stop the flow from a large cut, but is perfect for a toenail which was cut too short that's bleeding.The price per unit is low, and since I needed only one stick for personal use I was able to donate the two "surplus" tubes to the bird rescue where I volunteer.
