Foldable Backpack - Compact Packable Day Pack - Includes Lifetime Lost & Found ID, Black, Medium, Traveling

I bought this pack for dog walks. Fits all the necessities (including a 2l water bottle) and is comfortable to wear for an extended period. The fact that it folds into itself and can be easily tucked away is an added bonus.

*UPDATED*Original review-I have waited some time to write a product review because I wanted to thoroughly use and evaluate the bag.This is hands down the best item I have purchased in a long time!I am currently backpacking around the world and this is a great compact day pack! I love that the packing sac is attached to the bag and can be flipped inside out to be used as a pocket inside the main area (it has a double sided zipper). The bag is great quality, lightweight, and spacious. Are there smaller packable day packs out there? Yes. But for the quality and comfort, the extra space and weight in my bag, its worth it.I have noticed with other bags that the shoulder straps are flimsy and cut into your shoulders. The shoulder straps on this bag are extremely comfortable and do not dig in. They even have padding in them!It was important for me to find a bag that could fit my laptop in it. I can fit my 13 inch laptop in the main section of the pack with room to fit other items as well. It might be tough to fit a larger laptop in it though due to the dimensions.I also love that the bag had two mesh waterbottle sleeves. The mesh sleeves have some elastic and are able to stretch a bit. They easily fit a standard plastic waterbottle and slimmer reusable water bottles. I am not sure if they will fit a larger nalgene style bottle or not.This bag has been through the ringer and is holding up nicely! I have used it hiking as well and is a great bag for day hikes! Very comfortable! Washes well.The bag also comes with an optional location finder ID. I did not use these feature so am not able to comment on it.Overall this is a great packable day bag! I highly recommend!**updated February 2020**I am still in love with this bag! And it still receives 5 stars from me!I noticed after about 6 months of use, the inner lining (guessing the water resistance clear lining) started disintegrating and peeling off. This left the material less sturdy and started causing some rips. I'm not one to complain to a company or 'go to a manager in the store' , but since I loved this bag so much, I wanted to see if others who bought this were having similar problems, or to just make the company aware of this issue to help improve the product. So I contacted the company and they have absolutely AMAZING customer service! Responded promptly, informed me must be a defect (it happens -no biggy for me), apologized, and sent me a brand new one the very next day! Thank you Peak Gear for taking care of your customers and making sure they are happy with their products!

I am in love with this bag! I've already put it to the test on my layovers in the UK and Europe this season. It has been misty, rainy and gross on some of my trips lately, but this bag is fantastic! My things stayed DRY, y'all! And I was making Christmas Market purchases that I didn't want soaked. I walked around for hours confidently with this bag, even forgetting it was on my back because it's so light and comfortable. Absolutely recommend it highly! And it takes up nearly zero space in my luggage, but didn't look like a wrinkled mess when I take it out to use it. Admittedly, I haven't bothered to return it into the pouch, but that pouch serves as a handy pocket inside the bag anyway, so nothing lost there. Accommodated my water bottles! Gosh, I'm happy with this purchase!UPDATE: I had to come back and add to this! I've used this bag on every layover and every excursion for a few years now. I used it so much that when my boyfriend (now hubby) started traveling with me, I insisted he get one! It's been to at least two dozen countries. Soaked in sweat and rain. Covered in sand. Dropped in mud. Washed countless times in my washing machine. Folded and crammed into tight spaces. Pulled on by the straps when it's been stuck somewhere. (It's amazing how much abuse you give an object when you didn't pay a fortune for it and you know you could replace it with another just like it. Not saying that's the right attitude to have, but I'm not gentle with my things!) Adjusted in the straps many, many times to fit either me or my tall, muscular husband. I'd love to know how many times it's been zipped and unzipped! I can't rate this backpack highly enough!Oh! And I added photos! Every item you see was packed into that bag! I shop on layovers and it's my grocery bag! Easier than managing bags with handles... frees up my hands for opening doors, using my phone for directions, and makes me feel prepared to act in an unfamiliar environment.
