Followed a YouTube video to instal. Removing the old screen was messy as the glue was stuck tight, despite warming it up, which meant the glass broke into tiny pieces. But once off it was easy enough. Had to contact customer support as after instillation the screen developed a problem but I was refunded then bought a new one. Fitting and it works fine. One issue with both however was the fact that the fingerprint scanner no longer worked but this is not an issue for me as it’s my 9 year olds. The button works to return to the Home Screen which is the main thing. Customer support were very quick to reply and sort any issues I had and I learned a new skill in the process.

I ordered this replacement screen for my 2020 10.2-inch iPad, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Initially, I was hesitant because I had no prior experience repairing electronics. However, after watching a few repair videos, I felt confident enough to tackle the job. I chose this product because it came with a complete tool kit and had excellent reviews. The kit arrived in a sturdy box, ensuring the screen was well-protected during shipping. Inside, I found everything I needed: multiple plastic opening tools, a screwdriver, a scraper, tweezers, and even a razor blade, which was especially helpful for removing the old adhesive. The only additional tool I had to provide was a heat gun. The repair process was straightforward. It involved removing the old screen, unscrewing about eight screws, disconnecting the digitizer, and unplugging four ribbon cables. Once the old screen was removed, installing the new one was just as simple. The adhesive tape on the new screen worked perfectly—just ensure you remove all the backing before attaching it. I also appreciated the detailed instructions with pictures, which made it easy to follow along step by step. To my surprise, the kit even included a screen protector, which saved me the expense of purchasing one separately. From start to finish, the repair took me about an hour. This kit exceeded my expectations. It was affordable, included more than enough tools to complete the job, and ultimately saved me a significant amount of money compared to taking it to a repair shop. Plus, the bonus screen protector was a fantastic touch! I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to replace their iPad screen—whether you’re a beginner or more experienced.

Wir haben den digitizer gekauft und rasch installiert was ohne Probleme möglich war (den kaputten Digitizer runter zu bekommen ist weitaus anstrengender). Nachdem wir fertig waren hatten wir plötzlich sehr viele Kratzer entdeckt und waren schon ganz geschockt - doch mit einem kurzen Kontakt mit dem Händler (der übrigens sehr flott und hilfreich geantwortet hat) haben wir bemerkt dass der digitizer insgesamt 2 Schutzfolien aufweist und wir vergessen habe die innere abzunehmen bevor wir ihn installiert haben. Man muss dazu sagen es war sehr schlecht ersichtlich dass sich dort auch eine Folie befindet. Nachdem wir diese dann auch abgenommen und den digitizer nochmal neu installiert haben, ist nun alles prima- keine Kratzer oder Ähnliches vorhanden. Auch passt er perfekt in den Rahmen. Einzig und allein der Homebutton ist etwas „versenkt“ aber es stört mich persönlich nicht. Wenn man ganz genau hinsieht kann man bei gewissen Programmen das Grid des Digitizers erkennen allerdings war das zu erwarten - es ist immerhin kein Original. Alles in allem bin ich sehr zufrieden dass ich mein iPad so preiswert richten konnte!
