What ages would this work for? Don't want to overwhelm the 9yo

I Do Not think this product is appropriate for children as it has a retractable break off style razor blade knife. Children could easily get hurt if unsupervised. The knife doesn’t even have a lock. The blade can easily be unintentionally bumped out. Highly unsafe for children.

Can the sketch book fit inside the zippered case?

I bought this for my daughter. I am not sure. It looks like it can. But i am not positive.
