The clamp doesn’t securely fit all vents because it’s not long enough to reach the back of the vent to attach securely. I’ve tried this device in multiple vehicles and it doesn’t stay in place. It also doesn’t hold phones that have pop sockets or rings on the back of them. ### ⭐⭐⭐ It looks and feels sturdy, but can’t handle the heat. *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on May 24, 2021* We would’ve loved it if it could’ve handled the heat. I guess I never thought about the heat on purchasing this item because it was for a car, and I thought that you just left things for the car in the car. You cannot do this with this item. It is great! If you are going to buy this, make sure you take it out of the car if you live in a hot place like Florida. I don’t think it lasted more than a day and a half or two. In melted to the point that the brackets wouldn’t open and close anymore to fit the iPhone 12 promax anymore. I guess it just mended somehow. If you’re forgetful, don’t buy because it will be ruined.
