Sheaffer® Prelude® Merlot Lacquer Fountain Pen

It's looks nice, elegant, solid. Its nib is stiff yet smooth, well polished, runs wet, but runs long. Outside is solid and pretty, so is its the nib assembly. But the screw threads for the hind section are of a cheaper looking plastic and look frayed. This is a strangely discordant finding in an otherwise premium piece. However, a drop of cooking oil seems to improve this a lot, almost ?cures the plastic. I used it for a very long stretch and will return to it.

I love this brand of fountain pen and decided to give this one a try so glad I did its absolutely beautiful the colour is so classy and the fine nib writes with a perfect ink flow - I am using some of my son's purple ink and love it 😊 brilliant seller too despatched the pen straight away and it arrived two days before expected and very well packaged thank you would definitely recommend

Writes smoothly, ink flow is well balanced. This is very well made fountain pen. It is well weighted as I write. I write daily, so I hope this pen can take it. My last pen (Dryden) lasted five years, I hope this pen will cut the mustard. For the price you really cannot go wrong.

He tenido este tipo de plumas antes, pero esta parece de plástico, no tiene peso, se siente muy frágil y siento que no tiene la misma calidad a mis plumas anteriores de la misma marca, misma punta y me decepcionó. Precio elevado para lo que es. No la recomiendo.
