I rarely take the time to write reviews but the excellence of this product motivated me. This is, by far, the best machined piece of furniture I've every assembled. I've bought a lot of products over time but the instructions and quality of the fasteners and materials of this product beats them all. It didn't take long to assemble. Pieces fit together tightly and screws are heavy duty. This is something that's going to last long past most similarly priced items. The assembled product is exactly as described and works well for a sewing machine stand. It will also easily convert to a craft table if necessary. One of the great features is the adjustable shelf which helps greatly since I am short. On top of great function, it looks great. Thank you!

I LOVE this table. I was a little wary as I thought it might be too lightweight and move when I sewed. I have 3/4" oak flooring and it made me nervous! But let me tell you, it DOESN'T BUDGE ONE TINY BIT. The table is perfect for those of us who are on the short side... I'm 5'3" tall, and the overall table height with the sewing machine platform set on the lowest rung is just right. I'm not stooped over or bending my neck at an unnateral angle. I have an executive leather rolling desk chair, so now I'm in heaven now when I sew. I took my time putting the table together - and it came out perfect! Lay the cardboard box flat on the floor, then lay the parts out according to the directions. Take your time! If it doesn't look right or something isn't lining up, don't sink your screws in immediately. Adjust them as you go so everything is straight and even. Give yourself plenty of time, some ice tea, and music to make it a fun experience. I bought the matching rolling carts as well. The smaller 3-level cart is great to hold your current project, along with a few small tools & notions. It really isn't meant for long-term storage or anything heavy like an iron. I also purchased the adjustable height folding table (with the baskets) to cut material out on. I'm sew happy with my new furniture. It is such a pleasure to sew again! The furniture is thoughtfully made and isn't cheap looking. It's just right for those of us on a budget, who don't want to spend a fortune on the other tables going for $,$$$!

This sewing / hobby/ craft table was very well priced compared to the other offerings on Amazon. The shipping was on-time. I opened the box and discovered the main table top was cracked on one of the narrow arms that are the cutout for the sewing machine insert. I contacted the company's support number listed on the customer satisfaction survey enclosed with the package. They were very pleasant and easy to deal with and getting things set to send a replacement table top was very swiftly accomplished. The item itself is very well designed and extremely functional. The instructions are very well illustrated and easy to follow. Assembly took about 20 minutes. The places where the metal components are attached to the composite working surfaces and folding sideboard are strong metal inserts set in the composite material and should not loosen or become misshaped as I have had happen on lessor grade products. The work surface is smooth, durable and the size is generous. All in all I am extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend it as a good entry to intermediate level work space.

Sew Ready Comet Hobby Center: Purchased 2 due to my specific/limited space available. Could not tell different between Comet ($) & Comet Plus ($$) other than price and Comet Plus was an updated model. Boxes Items well packed in box; Parts all included; no damage. Assembly easy. Box is heavier so expect minor box dings in transport. I set up side by side. NOTE: 1 unit's side table did not lay flat on one corner creating 1/4" difference in surface on one corner only. RESOLVED by adjusting leg levelers AND switching the placement of tables so that the uneven surface is on leftmost side where I won't be using it for a cutting surface (photo arrow). Set one table w/tray up so I have a work surface and other w/tray down for machine. Yes, it does rattle a little at higher speeds, so slow down :-). Units are good enough for my needs and space limitations.

I bought this with the intention of using it for my sewing machine. I've been wanting one of these forever and finally have the space for it. However, with the COVID-19 outbreak going on and with everyone being sent to work from home, I've now converted it to a computer desk. I didn't want to sacrifice my sewing table but Ikea has shut their stores so this is all I got. I got the smaller no drawer version so there isn't quite enough space for both my monitors to be oriented horizontally. I am able to fit my 2 monitors (one in portrait orientation) on the table portion and my laptop in the drop down shelf. It's a little cramped but will hopefully get me through the outbreak until I can return to the office. As for use as a sewing table. The shelf is a little too high. I wish the top of the table was leveled with my sewing machine (I have a Singer), but it's about an inch too high. If there was one more notch in the sides then I think it's be perfect. I never got to actually sew on it but it feels sturdy enough. Other than that, assembly was easy. I was able to do it alone. It's a bit hard to move by yourself (I'm 5'2), but manageable if you're careful.

I am a new sewist and wanted a sewing table to fit in a guest bedroom. After researching ideas and looking at other possible sources, I came to Amazon. The reviews for this table were mostly positive- some reviews mentioned vibrating when going at top speed. I haven’t noticed that at all- granted I am a beginner. My husband put the table together and found it easy, with well labeled pieces and great instructions. The table is very solid, and is great quality. Love the drop down section for the machine, and also the end flap which is great for cutting, and I can see for holding larger pieces of work. Delivery was prompt. It was well packaged and arrived intact. Very happy with my purchase. I would definitely recommend!

Regalato alla moglie per il suo hobby è un tavolo molto resistente di buona fattura, piano di lavoro solido con rivestimento simile ad un piano cucina quindi antigraffio ecc. Può anche essere usato come scrivania e ridotto in lunghezza per guadagnare spazio all'occorrenza da 115cm a 91cm ripiegando in giù l'aletta sinistra...La struttura al contrario di come può sembrare non è completamente richiudibile su se stessa ma è fissa.

I am delighted with this table. Be warned that it is BIG - you might want to double-check it will suit your space. It took me some time to assemble on my own, but the instructions are exceptionally clear, with all parts clearly marked. It went together perfectly. The only part I struggled with was the adjustable shelf, which I found easier to fit BEFORE carefully putting the table upright. The whole thing is extremely sturdy and, thanks to the adjustable feet, it sits very steadily on my slightly uneven floor. Although it is heavy, it glides across the floor when I want to move it. Oh yes, and the cat loves the lower shelf!
