This is a high-quality product for a remarkably low price. It has the qualities of higher priced clocks. It makes no sound while running. The numerals are clear and large enough to be distinguishable at much more than across the room. lt is constructed of a plastic material at least .125" thick so durability is not an issue. I remember many many years ago an item made in China was of questionable quality, but that is not a concern these days, I am home-bound so I make a lot of purchases from Amazon that are made in China and the quality is always high.

has delivered the time for over a year. Doesn't eat up good alkaline batteries. i like the minute hand. Nice Large face. Plenty accurate even after a year in the shed. Terrific Value. i've owned it for over a year now.

Keep accurate time. Easy to use. Good replacement clockworks for not a lot of money.

I suppose some people have issues sleeping with noise. I have multiple key-wound clocks throughout my home, so ticking, chiming and marking of the hour does not phase me. Curiously, my grandchildren are the same, as they absolutely cannot sleep in dead silence. The clock (that ticked) that was in their "guest" room at my house died after many years. I searched for a clock that did NOT have a sweeping second hand but rather had a "ticking" second hand. All of the reviews I read for this clock suggested this was precisely what I needed. Ordered it, put the battery in and immediately realized that this is a SILENT clock. While I do like it, and it fits in the space I needed it to be placed along with the fact that it actually works, I'm disappointed that it was not as presented: this is a SILENT clock that does NOT tick. Guess I'll be getting a noise machine or playing white noise music through our phones with an attached speaker when our grandchildren come because there is no ticking on this new clock - exactly that they would have been satisfied with but obviously did not get. Way to go, Amazon and other reviewers: I was mislead on one of the key elements of this device. **Shaking my head** If you're looking for a silent clock, this is nice. If you're looking for an actual ticking clock, move on and find something else, because this will not be what you're looking for.

I have had this clock since the end of January and now it no longer works! I realize it was an inexpensive item, but lasting barely two months is almost unbelievable. I am a senior citizen who lives in a nursing home and I have no money for extras. If I could have posted it 0 stars, I would have. I am beyond disappointed.

Small and cheaply made. All have not worked since day one. New batteries and still it doesn’t keep time. I wish I had opened it before now but didn’t think I’d have this problem.

I use this in my camper. Nice to have an analog clock in the living space. The 8" size is readable from over 20 ft. The esiting hangar type mount is strong enough for a traveling RV...No suprise, eh? So, I installed 2 phlips screws on the face to hold it too the wall. Crazy, but a great clock! See the 2 screws I added in my pic. LOL. You won't need these in a house. EDIT: Just replaced the battery because the clock stopped. I originally used a battery from an old package I bought at the 99cent store. They were at least a couple years old, made by Sunbeam, normal carbon-zinc type. So, the single ancient battery lasted about 2 months. I bet a good alkaline would last 2 years. Still love this clock.
