Simple set up and assemble. Great for hiding cables from ceiling

I bought this mount due to the cheap price, prepared to modify it if need be. I was pleasantly surprised by the versatility of it. Its self assembly, so no problem for myself, although the instructions needed blowing up on my phone. 😂 I ended up using the basic parts of the extending tube, surface mount and the gimbal. This will allow me to swing it up when not in use. I'll have to make a bracket to lock it up, but again, no problem for me. My cheapo projector (Goodmans from B&M) only has a 1/4 thread mount, so the supplied arms will be surplus. Value for money. 10/10. Ease of assembly. 9/10 For this price, you can't go wrong!

It's solid built , however vertical up and down adjustment requires an Alan key (nothing major) Besides that , good product

It sort of works but it's really not what I was expecting. I just feel it's to flimsy to do the job I wanted. I half expected the bracket to buckle when I mounted the project which is well below the weight limit. Angle adjustment is poor. The projector is just hanging there. I try and tilt it down and lock at my desired angle but it just moves back every time. If it wasn't such a pain to disassemble I would be returning. Deffinetly going to replace with something more sturdy or even just build a shelf...

I managed to get this to work, but if you’re not using the extender it is so fiddly to attach the projector by the time the bracket is on ceiling. I’m using a short throw projector and it looks good on the ceiling, but I need to move the bracket, and I fear this is going to be a nightmare. Good if you’re on a budget, if not spend a bit more and get one that is a bit easier to put together. Adjustment is pretty good for moving the projector about, it’s a nice size so you don’t really see the bracket once on the ceiling.

Work’s absolutely perfectly, build quality is great, plenty of adjustment, fast delivery. Instructions are hard to read at first but not difficult to get your head around.

Its a good sturdy bracket, my projector only has 1 camera screw fixing in the centre so you can just remove the circular bottom plate off the bracket and screw it directly to the end of the bracket. It doesnt come with the correct screw for this (it probably could do with doing if they upgrade it) but i had one that fits. Adjustments are good but the washers on the screws on the adjustment head could really do with being bigger as they tend to twist and bend into the adjustment slot because they are to small but still work ok.

I bolted this suptek projector mount thru the drop ceiling in my son's bedroom setup (like you can see in the pics), and it has been rock solid holding my projector steady for movie nights. I anchored it to a floor joist and it doesn't move one bit. Unlike some complaints about confusing instructions, mine came with a crystal‑clear manual: bolts sorted in labeled plastic bags alphabetically, diagrams step‑by‑step, and even tips for sloped installs. If you are handy at all, it goes together solo in 20 minutes. The extendable pole and tilt/swivel adjustments let set the perfect angle without an issue (see the minor downside below), and it feels overbuilt for the weight: no sag or creak even with my 8‑pound unit. White finish blends right into the ceiling too. The only minor downside is, as with most lower end mount, getting the right tension while tightening the bolts so that it allows you to adjust your projector, without stopping you from adjusting or nor letting it move too easily, takes some time. Cleared up my desk clutter and gives pro‑level projection positioning. Easy 5 stars; instructions and build quality crush any doubts.

Ma bisogna avere pazienza nel montarlo. Non è così semplice seguire la guida perché a mio avviso le vite a disposizione sarebbero davvero molto di meno .. per cui mi solo trovato di montarlo seguendo l'istinto più toso che la.guida dopo averlo provato e mi sono trovato con tante vite in meno ... Credo che sia meglio da utilizzare sul soffitto più tosto che su un muro anche se io l'ho utilizzato per il muro.. unico consiglio che mi sento di dare è che non si potrebbe aprire la staffa di allungamento una volta piazzato sul muro perché dal peso tende a filettere ma per il resto tutto ok . Qualità prezzo ottimo !

I’m really confused as to why this mount has so many negative reviews. It really made my decision harder but I decided to buy it anyway and see for myself. This mounts works as described and was really not hard to understand. I believe the manufacture has updated the design which I feel is important to mention. The adjustable arm has a notch at the end of it to prevent it from sliding off. It’s literally impossible for the projector to slide off unless you intentionally install it the wrong way. The instructions are no different than IKEA instructions and was easy to understand and not hard to read at all. The only thing I’ll say is be careful how much you tighten the sliding arm. The screw in the arm has teeth on the back and if you screw it too tight it will be impossible to undo once the weight of the projector/gravity starts to pull on it. This happened to me and I actually had to ask for a replacement which Amazon quickly sent out. It is very sturdy and I can guarantee you’re projector will not fall of. It would rip from the ceiling down before this thing comes apart, it’s that sturdy. Even though the manufacturer says it can be mounted on a wall, I truly believe this should only be mounted on the ceiling. This is really designed to handle vertical weight and I can see this being a problem for horizontal wall mounts. The mount naturally has a bit of wiggle to make fine adjustments to it, but when mounted sideways I could see this being a nightmare to get your projector level and staying level. So if you’re mounting a projector on this ceiling this is the one for you, if you’re trying to mount it on a wall proceed with caution.
