how can i change in kilogram?

There is a switch on the back of the scale.

Where is it manufactured?

The Tanita BF-679 is made in China.

Which machine would best suited for use by a personal trainer who might work with both the general population and athletes ?

I'm no personal trainer but I do use various methods to keep an eye on my weight, fat, water intake and exercise. In addition to my FitBit and RunKeeper app, I am on my second Tanita scale because I love how it gives you weight, fat and water intake. Our first Tanita scale lasted well over a decade and so I was happy to find that I could order the same exact model. Two users can save their data on it. Good luck!

Can the body fat feature be turned off for one person but not the other in the duo units? i have an aicd unit.

Anyone who does not want body fat would use the guest mode.
