Louis Garneau - Mens Terra MTB Shoes

These shoes have for sure a good price/quality ratio. Good looking and nice finish with solid fabrics while the mesh portion allows some aeration of the foot. My normal shoe size being a 41 to 41.5 I had to return the size 42 and get me a 43 in stead. In other words, my advice would be to size one up when you order a pair of these. The so called ergo grip outsole does its job well as long as you're off-road, once on the road this kind of fabric doesn't give you much grip. Also, If they had made the outersole structure just 1 millimeter deeper, the cleats would not be scraping the tarmac. Overall, a good pair for a relatively low price.

As others have stated went up one size and they fit just right. The shoes have a very nice appearance and function very well with the Shimano mountain bike pedals. I visited some local stores before buying these and they definitely stood out from the competition.

These run small. I am a 11.5 to 12 and the 46 are pretty tight. But they work. Just not any extra room. I had ordered the 45's and they were way too small.

Go one size bigger then what your size shows I wear a 12 and chart said a 46 but I needed a 47. The shoe itself was great for the price

Got this shoe as the soles of my old mountain bike shoes had cracked and the cleats were starting to move around. This shoe came up in my searches so I decided to take a chance and get them online. They seem to be a little smaller than other shoes as I typically ride in a 43.5 on the road; however, my mountain bike shoes tend to be a little bigger so it may be more like by a half size smaller in feel.Rode these in a 4 hour off road fire road/trail event almost immediately out of the box and they worked and felt great! Nice pair of shoes. Nice quality. I'm very pleased with them.

I torn them up. I ride in a rocky area so within a few months the shoe had rips in the side. One so big my foot would fall out. The whole shoe was very cheaply made but heavy so don't expect to do any kind of REAL mountain biking in them.

All of my other sport shoes and bike shoes are 11.5US so I thought the LG size 45EU would fit fine. They are a little snug but still wearable. I like the 3 Velcro strap closure and they are a leap beyond Shimano shoes that I had been looking at before ordering these. I just have to wear thin socks when I use these shoes but other than that they are fine. Interesting that size charts for other shoes would show that a size 45EU is a much smaller size (10.5) than 11.5US but the Louis Garneau size chart is correct.
