This product will give your DIY projects a cleaner more professional look. YES, it consumes a fair amount of time to wrap all the cable bundles on a larger project like a computer; but you will really appreciate the clean look you gain for all your effort.The springiness and stiffness of this product ensure that wires stay in place. These same qualities, however, can make the product unwieldy to use, especially in tight corners. One nice thing about spiral wrap is that you can easily drop individual wires or groups of wires out of the bundle anywhere along the run.The price was fair and I especially like not being forced to buy a 100 foot spool. For a short length this isn't so bad but for a long length it can take some time, winding the cover around and around and around for the full length. The overall length of the cover also gets significantly shortened if the cables inside exceed the allowed diameter, you need to account for this in your measurements, cut 25% longer than you think you need and trim the extra when fully wrapped. On the plus side, the wrap self-adjusts to the diameter of the cables it is enclosing, this makes for a very nice tight wrap. The result is very clean and neat.
