Less than $10. I usually skip less expensive plumbing parts. The design seemed simple because most people don't understand how to work the other type. When the previous one was removed from a house 4 years old, it was discovered that plumber's putty was only on one side. We had no pipe dope so we wrapped the threads with Teflon tape. Put in the plumbers putty. This created a fast drain compared to the other which was a slow drain. The stopper may seem rinky dink but it's simple and I think easier to use. Installed on standard fiberglass tub/shower. Works great

Well constructed, sturdy replacement drain assembly. Finish is flawless and looks good. Size is correct and the stopper holds an entire tub of water without leaking. One tip: In case you haven't done one of these before, you need plumber's putty for the bathtub side. The rubber washer goes on the underside, on top of the drainline. Also, do yourself a favor and invest in a drain wrench (eg. https://www.amazon.com/Armour-Line-RP77325-Strainer-Wrench/dp/B0754S3TD8). It makes removal of the old one so much easier.

Perfect replacement for damaged drain in rental house. Recommend getting the tool for the removal and installation. Makes the job much easier and won’t break the bank.

The stopper part (the part you twist and goes up and down) is wobbly, which is annoying. I may return it.

I love this. I had paid for a more expensive stopper when someone lost pieces to it. So this with its low price, easy to use and install is perfect

Easy installation. Fits perfectly. Works fine. Looks good. Make sure you're getting the correct size for your own tub drain. Most tub drains are either 1½" or 1¼".

Nov 2022 - Eastman 35233 Lift-N-Turn Bath Drain Assembly, 1-1/2", Chrome Product was as described, included under-tub gasket, chrome, heavy/thick material. Removal: The old, corroded drain assembly with a drain assembly extraction tool (a heavy brass tool with skewed threads - looks like a big nut socket). Installation steps: - cleaned/wiped drain pipe collar - cleaned/wiped tub drain hole area - applied a thin coat of silicon grease to gasket - placed gasket under tub drain hole, on top of drain pipe collar - applied plumbers putty to underside collar of new drain assembly - carefully hand threaded drain assembly into the drain pipe (clockwise/right) - carefully placed the handle end of pliers (tool) into drain assembly strainer - carefully used a second pliers to grasp the pliers in the drain assembly - carefully turned/tightened the drain assembly (clockwise/right) - carefully scraped away the excess plumbers putty that squished out

Seems sturdy. No instructions, so make sure someone knows how to install it. I'm baffled why my bathtub has a coarse larger adapter and a 1 3/8" stopper instead of this 1 1/2" size. Nobody makes fit all bathtub plugs for the smaller 1 3/8 size opening, so if it fits, yippee!
