Great for restoring rusted tools
I used this pad to clean up and polish my rusted table saw. Its a good value for the money, sanded well, polished my table saw well, and it cleaned it up just right. It's made of durable material that is abrasion resistant.

Worked great for leather
I needed these to help restore some leather seats for my car. I have a whole bunch of the other red pads, but never had the ultra fine. These work really really well for final passes on leather or even wood.

Great for auto touch up.
Just enough bite to get rid of roughness between coats. Handles water well and doesn’t clog up.

They are not fancy, but they work, and that is exactly why they stay in the shop
Scotch-Brite is a proven name in the industry, and these ultra fine 7448 hand pads work well. They hold up well, provide a good finished product, and are useful for all kinds of prep, scuffing, and finishing work. The nice thing about Scotch-Brite pads is that there is a grade for almost any grit level or purpose you can imagine. Whether you are doing light surface prep, final scuffing, cleaning up a finish, or getting something ready for coating, they are one of those shop items that always seem to have a use. And honestly, it almost does not matter what brand of hand pad someone is talking about — in normal shop conversation, most people just call them Scotch-Brite pads. That says a lot about the name.

Omega seamaster watch strap.
This is the perfect product for brushed stainless watch straps. My 6 year old Omega Seamaster GMT which has been regularly warn, started to show scratches and dulling on the links and clasp. After a few hours of patient polishing with this fine grade finisher, the watch looks like it did when I purchased it. Always apply in the same direction and use a drop or 2 of warm water when polishing for friction. Always tape between the polished and brushed areas so you’re not polishing the polished links. You only want to use this on the brushed steel areas. Watch manufacturers charge £550 for this process. I am genuinely astonished by the results.
