I've had this for about a month now. And so far it does great. I've made hot dogs, bratwurst, smoked sausage, and kielbasi in it so far. I have used beer and water to steam with. I have also added seasoning in the liquid and boy does it make the flavor. I love it, It's a great alternative to the grill when the weather isn't cooperating and sometimes I just want the different flavor steaming gives you. It's quick and easy. Fill it up with your meat and liquid, (DON'T put your buns in till the very end or it will be a soggy mess) turn it to high and in 20 minutes your ready to eat. Clean up is a breeze too. Dump out any remaining liquid and wipe everything down with a paper towel. Hope this helps, so far I'm really enjoying it.

I purchased this for my Super Bowl party and it performed great! I assembled and had it up and running in less than 5 minutes. I used water as my steam liquid. I steamed one dozen dogs and buns to perfection in less than 15 minutes. I added the buns to the top drawer during the final 5 minutes. I believe that is the key to getting a good finished product (anything beyond 10 minutes in the bun warmer is cause for over soaked buns). At the 15 minute mark, I set the unit to WARM and let the crowd self serve themselves. It was a hit at the party. (HINT: When opening the bun warmer lid, move lid away from buns quickly to avoid condensation dripping from lid onto buns causing them to soak) Cleanup is a breeze, just soak the plastic drawers and lid in plastic soapy water and rinse. The heating unit (base) just wipes off with a warm soapy cloth and dry off (do not submerge base). The unit powers via your standard household plug, and the cord wraps up neatly underneath the base for cord storage. At $29.99 this unit executed perfectly. The only negatives is that the unit feels like a toy. The grade of plastic feels very cheap. A higher grade of plastic or even aluminum would have been ideal, but for the price point I understand. Be wary of the plastic handles on the side. They don't really lift anything, and I can see them breaking easily in the future. VERDICT: This is a great hot dog/bun steamer that looks great while doing its job. If used correctly, and stored with care (mine will sit in box when not in use), this unit will make hot dog night fun and tailgating a breeze. I would gladly recommend this to a friend.

When I was looking to buy a hot dog steamer, I looked at several of them, read reviews, and looked at price. I decided on this one and have been very happy with the purchase. I purchased this to make hot dogs for the kids at my daughter's birthday party. We went through 80 hot dogs that day. They cooked up super fast (even though they were frozen when I put them in the steamer!), and the buns did not get soggy as I saw in a lot of comments on other steamers. The buns came out nice and soft. You can even put buns in that are not quite as fresh as you would prefer and they get nice and soft and steamy, you would never know they were not fresh baked! The kids loved the hot dogs. It was a great addition to the pool party. Even the adults loved the hot dogs steamed. We have since used it at home just for the family. The hot dogs taste way better steamed than put in a pot of boiling water. I don't think we can ever have another party without using the hot dog steamer. The kids might riot! They really enjoyed them that much. I always had a ready supply wrapped in aluminum foil so that they could just grab one whenever they wanted a hot dog. Swimming makes a kid hungry, so they enjoyed being able to grab a nice steamed hot dog whenever they wanted.

We've owned this now for a year and a half where I live (Elderly high rise) as the President of the Resident Council we wanted to raise a little cash, without it being costly to those who live here. The residents LOVE it and we make money for trips etc that they enjoy!! It's easy to clean (if the bottom silver parts gets a little nasty (Just keep adding water and it does NOT) just plug it in with enough water and TA DA it comes clean. GREAT TASTING DOGS!! Love the steamed buns. We do as was suggested and we put a few white napkins in the steamer and we do not add the buns until 2 mins before the dogs are done. Frozen Dogs, take 20 mins, unfrozen about 12 (red or brown dogs, it's Maine, they LOVE the red snappers). GREAT DEAL and they love how cute it is!! We love how easy it is to transport. It is all plastic, but it's cute so that's OK and great price too!

I purchased thos for my grandsons birthday party but due to Covid 19 it was hoing to show up too late. To my wonderful suprose ot actually showed up within 3 days of my ordering it. Thank you Amazon. The Dodger dogs came out great. I did take some of the other reviewers advice and wait until the dogs were 5 mins. out from being done before putting the buns in and also covered the top with a paper towel to catch up the built up condensation. They all turned out great. The machine was a hit! It was also very easy to clean. Less than 5 mins. to wash and dry and put it all up. The water level indicator was a little bit hard for me to see at first, but thats only because I didn't put enough water in it to begin with. Overall this was a great purchase and my teen kids loved the hot dogs so much its earned a permanent spot on my countertop.

The Coca Cola Diner-Style Steamer is perfect for cooking hotdogs and keeping them warm! We bought this to use at church for youth events and other get-togethers. I only recommend leaving the buns in the warmer for a few minutes - they get soggy if left in the warmer for long. Better yet, use the warmer to keep the hotdogs warm. It was a hit this past weekend at our Outdoor movie night. This brought on a lot of compliments! I highly recommend the Coca Cola Diner-Style Steamer if you want something cute for cooking hotdogs, easy to clean and fun :)

So I bought this hotdog steamer and tried it out tonight. Man it makes a beauty of a hot dog, perfectly cooked and, the buns were just perfect aswell. 20 minutes for the dogs, put the buns in the top for the last 5 minutes and you got yourself a ball park dog ! Highly recomend, seller was prompt and ontime with delivery

Muy práctico y rápido para cocinar las salchichas. El pan lo deja muy bien si lo pones unos tres minutos antes de que sirvas, de lo contrario queda muy aguado.
