What is an activator and why do I need it?

The NuFACE Aqua Gel Activator is an FDA-cleared, lightweight conductive gel that helps your microcurrent device glide and reach deep facial muscles. Packed with hyaluronic acid for up to 24 hours of hydration and a visibly plump finish.

What makes NuFACE Aqua Gel different from other conductive gels?

NuFACE Aqua Gel is powered by IonPlex and FDA-cleared for use with NuFACE microcurrent devices. This clean, skin-loving gel delivers hyaluronic acid hydration while enhancing your device's performance - unlike basic or generic conductive gels.

Can I use this as a gel primer or a moisturizer?

Both! It works as a gel primer for your microcurrent device and doubles as a daily face gel or hydrating mask. The clean formula is gentle enough for all skin types—even on days you're not doing a microcurrent facial.

Do I need to wash off Aqua Gel before applying other skincare?

No need to rinse! After your microcurrent treatment, simply massage the remaining gel into your skin. Then layer your favorite products - like moisturizer or SPF - right on top.

Can I use water-based serums and skincare with NuFACE Aqua Gel?

Yes! Apply water-based serums before treatment, keeping your microcurrent gel as the top layer for optimal conductivity. Apply oil-based products after your lift, as they can impede microcurrent flow.
