Dies this have different volume settings?

Yes, it has three settings. The highest is "blast it" which is usually loud enough. I think the idea is more to have quieter settings to not bother others when playing in a quiet house. I recommend this one over the more complex ones. Three instructions is enough challenge to keep people playing in both "solo" and "pass it" modes. The others are VERY difficult.
