Purchased this for an older pc that I was going to use for a streaming media machine. This item worked perfectly without any issues.

Good value for ram in a workstation

One unit failed within a month and would not let the system post when installed. Customer service was top-notch and resolved the failed module with great response and detailed information. Very impressed with that aspect of the company. The reliability is still to be determined.

My MSI gaming system came w/ 16GB RAM, and got this OLOy to expand my RAM capacity. I've bought OLOy RAM in the past for my Dell, and had no issue. But this time, adding these RAM caused various strange issue. Most of the times, my PC will reboot after about 30 minutes, few times PC locked up, my right button on mouse wouldn't do anything, some apps will shutdown by itself, etc. I must of gotten a lemon.

11/27/22 Quite disappointing thus far the package arrived pre opened. And while the inner contents look fine it looks like the packaging got shredded a bit. Will update if anything worth while happens. And once I test the sticks out.

I would not recommend this ram. A month or so after installing it my computer would start to crash randomly. After running memtest86, I found out that one of the ram stickswas no longer working correctly. Buy something a bit more expensive and reliable.

Great for a budget build!
