Affordable, Top Quality, Fast Heat times!
Best soldering Iron I have used, it is very portable, and can be used for most soldering needs. One of the main reasons I bought this was that it heats up extremely quick, especially compared to most soldering irons on the market. The temperature can easily be adjusted, and also has a feature that it will cool down when it is set on the table, and will fire back up when picked up. I have had more for around 2 years and have not had any issues with it.

Great quality iron for a hobbyist
This iron is excellent! I've only ever owned the no-name irons with tips that get gross almost instantly and never seem to hold a consistent temp, so this is a huge upgrade. I've only used it on a few things, but it's been fantastic so far. For my uses, I've used it to desolder a couple of small wires from PCB, then resolder them with no issues, repair a headphone jack with new solder joints, and fix a guitar jack. When paired with a quality power supply, good solder, and a brass sponge, it works extremely well. It heats up within seconds - it's advertised to get to operating temp in 12, but it seems to be even faster in my experience. Crazy! It also holds a very consistent temperature, and if there are any fluctuations, you see it right on the display. It's comfortable to hold and even looks nice! The tip seems well constructed and it's a good size with a narrow end to get into tight spots. It would be nice if it came with some extras, but I suspect it'll last a while with the right care. I do wish it also came with a bag or case, since having it loose in a drawer isn't ideal. A recommendation or an optional power supply to add on would be great, as well. Just make sure you do some careful shopping and grab one that can output the higher end of what it's able to take. I actually didn't think to buy one and I made it work with a USB-C Macbook charger, and it worked really well so I've had no reason to buy another. Take a look at what you've got lying around and see if it'll work before placing another order. Overall, I highly recommend this iron if you're a hobbyist or enthusiast and just need something simple, effective, and well-made. I did a lot of research and this one kept coming up as the highest recommended cheap iron, and I definitely understand why!

If your needing a soldering iron get this one
I wish i would have found this long ago. All the good reviews this little beast has is the truth i have had over 30.soldering irons and this thing out does them all by a longshot. It is so versital can be used anywhere . Im into rc planes helis cars trucks and i usually solder something everyday. It works off different power supplys what i llike best is i can connect to a 3s 4s 5s battery pack and repair anything i need to out at the field. Itt has no problem sokdering battery terminals or soldering small wires to a drone stack . Heat ranfe us fully adjustable and it keeps up with the demand. If your thinking about getting this quit thinking and buy. I almost talked myself out of purchasing because funds wher tight but after i got it i realized i couldnt afford not to have it . From small precision soldering to larger high volume soldering it does it all. The amount of voltage you give it will deoend on how hit it will get i have used a 4s and it heats up to maxs . Do yourself a fav I r and get it you will love it. Quality I s great its lifhtweight small rigid and the heat doesnt transfer to the handle

Terrific Little Portable Soldering Iron
I love this thing. I paired it with a compatible Anker battery bank to give it the full power it can use to make a portable soldering solution for LED lighting on my deck. I have no regrets. Its solders joints without issue and the firmware accurately recognizes when I pick it up and reheats in mere seconds. I mean that too- by the time I have the solder and the wires positioned, its ready to work. Because it cools itself down automatically based on firmware settings (that can be set from your phone as well as on the iron), it conserves battery life when I put it down for extended periods. I pick it up, and the gyroscope accurately identifies that its needed and reheats the iron accurately to the preset temperature. Despite having a slightly odd replacement pattern for tips, this thing is great. I love it as a portable iron on a USB-C bank. It works, and it works damn well.

Great little soldering iron to keep in your kit!
I'll start by listing what I love about the unit. It's small and compact, and gets the job done. It heats up super quick, especially considering that it's powered off of USB-C. It heats up just about as quick as other more expensive soldering stations, while remaining portable. The quick change tips are a great feature, and definitely make it a huge selling point for me. It's really easy to operate, and it was really quick to learn all of the controls for it and what the menu items do. There's a few things I don't like as well. the little nub to keep the tip from touching the table is a bit useless. I wish that there were a small wire stand that could fold in and out of the unit to hold it up better. When it's plugged in and I'm having it sit there, I'm always afraid it's going to tip and burn whatever is under it. The other thing is I wish it came with a carrying case, however there are a few good ones out there for sale as well. Also, a good thing to include in the packaging would be something reminding people to update the firmware before first use, as a lot of features have been added from the firmware that's shipped with it.

This little guy is an incredibly polished piece of hardware. From small details like the LCD changing orientation based on how you hold the iron, to the animated display, you can tell a lot of work has gone into making the hardware and software. But the key question, of course, is - how does it solder? If it solders poorly then it's useless. And, with a 65W USB-PD connection, it solders well. As any iron does, it struggles with larger ground planes; that is to be expected. I used this for a custom project with a 2oz 4-layer copper pour on the PCB, and had to use two irons for many of the larger joints, as well as a hot plate to get a particularly stubborn inductor soldered. I don't think this is worth taking a star away for though; it solders well enough at its maximum temperature of 450C as long as you remember to tin the tip regularly and keep it from oxidizing, and handily trades blows with high-end Pace and Weller stations I've used that cost 10 times as much. One thing it does very nicely is heat up fast. Very fast. It takes around 15 seconds to go from room temperature to 450C, and much less if you're soldering at a more reasonable 350C. This is great because you can cool down the iron if you need it in 10 minutes, without having to wait a minute or two for it to heat back up again. That may sound trivial, but it reduces oxidation and increases the lifespan of your tip. Speaking of tips - those are cheap, too. Replacements on Amazon can be had for as low as $12, which is plenty low enough considering mine still works like new after a fair amount of usage. Overall, for the price this is very reasonable. Keep in mind that you'll need to pick up a USB-PD brick and cable with a 65W rating if you don't already have one, which pushes the total to around $110 CAD. With that being said, that price is still excellent for what this iron does, and I've already recommended it to many friends and colleagues. Seriously, buy this if you need a replacement iron or are getting into the hobby. Cheaper ones are miserable to work with, and this thing is near unbeatable for the price.

Pinecil works very well for soldering, could use with everything i needed except for a motherboard (but tbf, that was directly into a few layers of vcore power plane, i was gonna need to heat the board using any iron) With a 65w PD power, heats up very fast
