Excellent book for anyone wanting to understand horses better

This is a really fascinating book. I’ll have to reread it and take notes. There are so many gestures and small movements that can have multiple meanings. And many gestures I didn’t realize had any meaning at all. I feel like I’ve confused a lot of horses in my life! I wish there was a video companion piece to this work as some of the subtleties are hard to envision. Still, a must read for anyone who works with and loves horses.

A complete language of communication with horses. Not training- actual speaking through mimicking equine body language.

I refer to this book and her other two daily. Leant them to friends and they are amazed how it all works. Best books I ever bought.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who owns a horse or volunteers at an equine center. There is so much valuable information in here that will benefit your time spent around these beautiful animals. I am using a great deal of the information I learned to teach 6 to 12-year-olds at our Pony Pals Camp 2024.

I love the photos, details, and explanations. I am thrilled with this book. Such depth! The work that has been done to bring this to completion leaves me speechless and deeply grateful!
