BIOS version 1415. Replacing a oc'd Q6600. Why? Better bus speed and lower power consumption and less heat. Initially didn't POST. Was getting worried. Cleared BIOS by jumper and it POSTED. Checked the BIOS and looks fine. I have been running the system 24/7 ever since. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ it runs very cool with my motherboard *by D***N on April 12, 2015* If you are looking to upgrade your socket 775 cpu from and older generation 775 quad core or dual core cpu and dont want to spend money on the new products look no further! This cpu performs very well, it runs very cool with my motherboard, in the low to mid 30 degrees C with an aftermaket heatsink and TIM. Its does well with games. But cannot run battlefield 4 very well in ultra settings. Now this chip is great for those that want to go the cheaper route without spending an arm and a leg on the new generation products. Do not compare this processor with an i5 or an i7 because they are completely different, those processors will out perform hands down.
