It does actually tell you in advertising pics in the pic where the lens breakdown diagram is. COB is very bright, I have several lights with the COB technology and I love them! The only thing I can say is WOW! For such a small hand torch, the brightness is incredible. If you turn it to high, they claim it's 500 lumens. I have no way to measure it, but it is really bright! If you put it in Turbo mode (1000 lumens) the brightness will surprise you, though it will only stay in Turbo mode for 30 seconds. The battery lasts a good long time with intermittent use. I have taken mine camping, and I had plenty of power for my needs over a long weekend. If I just leave it on my desk and use it as needed at home, the battery lasts for a month or more. Charging is easy with the included USB C magnetic charger.
