Good size, I was impressed with being able to have the amount of flex out that I needed and not the extra amount I had out with my last kettle (🦢)!!! So this kettle it tidy and fits the space well, smart in appearance, not over complicated as some are these days (I sound old!) . Easy to clean . I have no complaints at all,( and I am a very fussy person, I like things exactly as they should be ) I would defiantly buy it again and recommend to friends and family for sure. Very impressed

**Q: Is the kettle quiet when boiling water?**
A: I find it to be a lot quieter than my old RH kettle. My friend and I had a conversation in the kitchen while it was coming to the boil and hear each other very well. Hope this helps

**Q: Can you completely remove the filter, and if so,  is there any other plastic filter housing, or plastic in general in contact with the water?**
A: The filter is completely removable. Easy to remove with lid off, just one piece. No other plastic in contact with water except when pouring.

**Q: How to clean the bottle as after using for a month, there seems to be some blackish substance and i tried to descale with vinegar and doesn't work?**
A: I don't have that problem and I've also had it for about a month if not a little longer. I therefore cannot answer your question.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reasonable kettle for the price.

The design is nothing startling but it looks quite nice, and it does have the water gauge at the side which I wanted. The lid opening is good and it closes properly, and the spout doesn't drip or pour out over your hand. It is rather tall (although only the standard 1.7 litre) and is hard to fit under the tap in my half-sink. Also it takes a long time to boil even the minimum amount of water, and is quite noisy. But I didn't want to pay 5 times the price for something more design-ery even if it had variable temperatures, so I'm happy with it so far.
