What will give a natural light ash brown color on black/dark hair?

Maybe the ash khaki is the color you’re looking for? I personally haven’t tried that color though. You probably have to pre-lighten your hair first (especially if you have naturally dark hair). I’ve only tried the primer and dusty ash on my hair, but over time, it faded into a nice ash brown color too.
