National Tree Company Christmas Tree Folding Stand, Green, For Trees 4 - 6 Feet, 16 Inches

I purchased a tree in an after Christmas sale in 2012 and never opened the box until this year....and the stand was broken. I looked everywhere for a replacement and no one had it--not Walmart, not Home Depot or Lowes, or even a Christmas specialty store. Not sure why I didn't check Amazon first, but when I did I came across this stand. I purchased it and it was the EXACT same as the one that came with the tree, however, this stand is built much more sturdy. The quality is much better and it seemed to be a little taller than the original/broken stand but that isn't an issue. If you are looking for a stand and the one you need "looks" like this one, wait no longer -- BUY IT!**** The only word of caution is to make sure you get the stand that fits your tree's height...some are 6', some are 8', some are 9' or more.

Our 6 ft. tall artificial Xmas tree plastic stand/base finally cracked resulting in a toppled tree and damaged ornaments. Found this metal tree stand on Amazon with good reviews for both the product and the vendor that sells it. Received this metal tree stand within the allotted delivery days. Easy to fold out and screw in the metal holding screws for the base of the artificial tree trunk. Too late to use it for this Xmas but will definitely use this metal stand for Xmas next year. I tested this stand and it's holding up quite well and stable with the tree in place (with ornaments and lights). I applied WD-40 (and a thin application of Vaseline petroleum jelly) to the 3 metal holding screws and the insert holes to prevent any rust during storage like some of the other reviewers suggested. This metal stand will save us from buying a new $100 or $200 artificial Xmas tree just because the plastic stand/base that the tree came in broke. None of the major stores or hardware stores around our town were selling this type of metal stand.

I have to admit I was worried that it wasn't strong enough. I set up a plastic tree outdoors in a center of the gazebo. The cheap stand that came with the tree was simply not able to hold up the tree in the outdoors. And so we set up rocks to prop the tree up but it was tilting and not secure.And so this was the cheapest alternative. I did worry that it would not be able to properly hold up the tree. However, when it arrived, I could see right away that the metal was strong and sturdy. And it was made well -- no assembly required.I got a friend to help me set it on the new base and it's standing tall and straight. Great buy!

Hard to find a decent stand for an artificial tree. Happy with this one. It’s heavy and sturdy and worked perfectly this season. Has different inserts to fist different pole sizes. I wish I would have bought it years ago

The plastic stand that came with our 7.5 foot artificial tree broke after years of use. Not wanting to toss out our beautiful Christmas tree, we tried to find a sturdier replacement made specifically for artificial trees. Having no success, we came across this one which is made for live trees - but decided to give it a try anyway. This worked out perfectly for our artificial tree - even if it is not being sold for that purpose. It is sturdy, holds the tree well, and folds up nicely for easy storage. Obviously I cannot guarantee that it will work for your artificial tree, but it has worked well for ours.

We chose this replacement stand for our 9-foot tree, but it doesn't work for a 1.5 inch diameter pole. My husband had to "thicken" the poke with corrugated and duct tape. Because there is only ONE screw to tighten, the tree leans a bit. There should be THREE screws to properly balance the tree. The stand is sturdy, but will only work on 1.25 inch OR 2 inch diameters.

This tree stand was a "perfect fit" for my 7-ft Christmas tree. . . so much so that I really didn't even need to use the screws (I did, but the stand had a depth so ample that it allowed the tree to stand up by itself) to tighten it. The original stand which was much smaller, but efficient, had been misplaced. I ordered this size because a smaller one I had intended to order earlier was no longer available. I'm am sure; however, that I will be able to use my new tree stand for a long time and, since I put it away in its own box, I'm certain that I won't lose it any time soon. Very sturdy product--well worth the money spent.

Movers lost my original stand 🙄. This replacement is exactly like the original. It's reasonably priced. Thank you!

Una excelente compra, me salvo este año, la base de plástico de mi árbol se rompió el año pasado y pensé que no lo podría poner esta navidad.Lo único que fallo es que le quedó muy grande al palo de mi árbol ya que con el sujetador que trae no se pudo fijar al 100, queda un poco de lado, pero en definitiva sigue siendo muy útil.Cuando lo iba a comprar se agotó y cuando ya hubo existencia estaba a un precio más alto, lo bueno q en unos días volvió a estar en promo y ya lo pedí, llego en muy buen tiempo.

Tenemos un árbol muy bueno que no fue nada barato pero su base era de plástico y no duró ni una navidad, la verdad que la base nos salvó la navidad porque comprar un árbol nuevo de 2 metros sale el equivalente a 7 bases, gran compra y esperamos tener árbol para varias navidades.

It fits perfectly for my 5ft Christmas tree. I got 24 inches to have more support since my tree is larger from the sides and I also have a dog. The only thing that can improve it is if it had more than one screw.

Stand is very lightweight so it tips too easily. I’m sure it’s very good for a symmetrical artificial tree. I bought it to hold a very light 4-ft tree branch (for my birds) but, because the branch isn’t symmetrical, the stand tips over.
