It has four different sides for different application preferences. The mascara nourished my eyelashes, my lashes never looked so good until I got hooked on this brand. The formula is not thin or watery or runny, it does not smudge, not entirely waterproof but I did not want waterproof anyway. It is thick but not clumpy, dries quickly and not flakey, Easy to remove with water and oil free make-up remover. Best mascara I have ever used. Also, it does not have a chemical smell like every other mascara brand I have tried. The only thing is after a couple hours it kind of smudges under your eyes. However I am 46 and starting to age so I wear TONS of moisturizer. I do put powder under my eyes but it still happens. Also it's hard to remove. I still love it until I find the perfect one.
