The GOOD news! I have been looking a very long time for a 100% cotton mattress cover that's thin, NOT waterproof and not puffy, and lets me sleep cool. My current pad was very puffy but too hot to sleep on - not 100% cotton. I need a cool sleeping environment as I sleep quite warm. This is exactly what I was looking for! It's not very thick, (which some folks complained about) but that's just what I wanted. It's well made, soft & comfortable, makes no noise, and the skirt pockets are very well made with a nice material, not that cheap stuff that snags & tears like so many others. I see that others have rated it lower due to not fitting their deep mattress pockets. My mattress is 11" deep and this fit perfectly (after washing and drying), so yeah, if you have a deeper mattress, it might not fit. I sure question the advertisement of fitting 16" deep mattress, but maybe I shrunk it a little in the dryer. I will line dry next time to avoid any more possible shrinkage. I am very happy with this mattress pad and think it's worth the price of $44.

Bought a new bed 2 months ago and they included the New and Improved Mattress Pad. The one supplied was Tencil waterproof and was suppose to keep you cooler as the salesmen told me and since it breaths it keeps moisture away. Well let me tell you I woke up sweaty and was hot as I slept. I have all cotton sheets on the bed so I knew those were not the problem and I had never had a problem before until this new mattress pad. I went searching for an all cotton mattress pad and found this. I read allot of the reviews and most were all positive. The only Con reviews I read was about the cotton wadding up after washing. I outweighed the good ones, I knew if I had a problem I could always return it. I followed the washing instructions to a tee. Gentle Cycle, I used Cold Water and I also didn't use the "Auto Fill" feature of water and set the water to medium high so the pad had enough room to move in the drum with more water and I have a large drum in my top loading machine, I also used the high speed spin after the gentle cycle was done so it would get more water out. I dried on low setting and went and moved the pad around in the dryer to get it evenly dried. It came our perfect and no shrinkage and fit the bed wonderfully. This is not a thick pad but it covers the bed well. Last night was a dream sleeping with not being hot and waking up all sweaty. I recommend this and follow the washing instructions. Don't worry about that 5% other material. It does have spandex on the drop sides that helps putting it on the bed and holds in place. The pad didn't move or slip all night long.

I love these, I have one for my bed and one for my sons. They are the most natural fiber option, hey look really nice, have nice padding and work surprisingly well at keeping he mattress clean considering they are not water proof. My bf had a cut that bled through the sheets but did not pass the mattress pad! They are easy to put iver the mattress and fit well and they help keep us warm on cooler nights but don’t make you sweat. They are a good value considering the quality materials. I would buy again.

Boy I was hoping I had finally found a good, simple, all cotton mattress pad. I bought this one, washed it once, and it shrunk so much it no longer fit the bed. Stretching it to fit tore the skirt and elastic. I want my money back but I continued to use my old pad for a few months so unlikely I can send it back now. Don't buy it. The manufacturer has obviously never used their own product. Complete engineering failure.

Quality is ok. After first wash top is not long enough to cover standard king. Appears to be mostly cotton as described. First ordered this in 2017, again in 2025. Very happy with durability of first order. Second is lesser quality. Side fabric is flimsy, looks like it could tear, quilting not as dense. Will have to see how it does with more use. All and all glad to have an affordable option in mostly cotton. Time will tell about durability.

I wanted a cotton-topped mattress pad that would fit my relatively-thin (8") mattress. I wasn't looking for an "uplifting, sleeping-on-a-cloud experience." Basically, I wanted it to protect the mattress and to be cotton to help prevent - not polyester to promote - sweating and heat. The verbiage for this mattress pad stated that it had a 100% cotton cover - AND a 95% cotton filling - bonus there! The unveiling: The pad was well-packaged in a nice clear zippered bag, so it was easy to unpack. I shook it out - I liked the amount and pattern of the quilting - and examined the tag. It said "All New Material Consisting of 95% Cotton 5% Polyester." WHAT? The description online said 100% cotton cover. I read the tag more thoroughly... it was for just the filling, not the rest of the mattress pad. It's a federally-required tag you would find on any new filling-filled item, such as a bed pillow - "Under penalty of law, this tag not to be removed except by the consumer." So don't be fooled at first glance!! Because... ... looking further, I found a nicer tag which gave the component contents: "Face: 100% Cotton, Reverse: 100% cotton, Filling: 95% Cotton 5% Polyester, Skirt Drop: 95% Cotton 5% Spandex." Very thorough. I washed the pad in our home top-load washer with no problem, and machine-dried it with tennis balls to promote maximum fluffiness. The pad fit perfectly on our queen bed; the "skirt drop" tucked in well and doesn't seem poised to escape. It lays nicely on the mattress and the fitted sheet covers it well. It is PERFECT for us, and I am glad to have spent a few extra bucks on it! Highly recommended!

Nice quality, feels like cotton, good weight. Packaging was so tight I had trouble getting it out without damage. Has an odd smell. Not awful, but not great either. Somewhere between earthy spices and chemical. A night and day airing hasn't made much difference. I'm really hoping a wash will sort it out. I debated between reducing by one or two stars for the smell.

Great fit, great quality and 100% cotton. Highly recommend.

Me gusta la tela de algodón de buena calidad y resistente aunque no impermeable (si buscas impermeabilidad tal vez no sea la mejor opción). La tela de los laterales también se advierte resistente, he tenido otros protectores que terminan rompiéndose por los lados, este parece que resistirá mucho más. Lo he lavado en casa y se conserva en su forma original. Volvería a comprarlo.

Al lavar por primera vez y necesariamente por ser nuevo, este protector de colchón tamaño individual ¡se encongio muchísimo! Espero que en esta segunda lavada no se siga encogiendo, porque de ser así, ya no me serviría para nada. ¿Cunas? ya no tengo. En este momento, todavía no se ha secado. Lo tengo en el tendedero.

This is the second one I purchase. The first one was for my queen bed. I have an all natural latex mattress and wanted a natural mattress cover that did not have chemical in it as it would defeat the purposes of my all natural and expensive mattress. The second one was for my son's twin bed. He is 11 years old and has not had a accident since he was 2 years old and therefore I am not worried about the fact that it is not waterproof. This mattress protector is really good quality, it is thick, soft, the contour is very stretchy and therefore stays snug around your mattress. I think it is perfect. I washed it and hung it dry before placing it on the bed. It's definitely worth the price. These all cotton mattress covers are really hard to find ( I had been looking forever) I am glad to have found this company. All other water proof mattress covers are made of nasty, chemical releasing materials that I chose to stay away from. This one is just perfect.
