Emergency Glow Sticks with 12 Hours Duration, Individually Wrapped Industrial Grade Glowsticks for Survival Gear, Camping Lights, Power Outages and Military Use

I am building up my emergency supplies and got these glow sticks based on apparent value for the price. These come in a box and each stick is individually wrapped, which is nice. Of course I had to try one out and cracked one to see how it did. I got the green color. First impression was that these are actually very bright. It isn’t the same as a headlamp or a flashlight, but in pitch black you can definitely make your way around. They are easy to crack and also seem very well made (no leaks). I figured they would last a good 12 hours or so based on how they are advertised. This one has lasted that long and then some. It has been going for almost 48 hours (no joke!) and although it has faded, it is still working. I’m not sure if this is a fluke but this was at room temperature of 73° F over this entire time. Based on the value for the price, and how long at least this first one has lasted, these are perfect for emergencies, a bug out bag, or anything where you might need light or visibility (ex: walking around during Halloween). You can’t go wrong with these!

Living in an area prone to hurricanes and power outages, I like this brand the best because the expiration date is shown on the wrapper of every glow stick. Over the years I have found that it takes extra effort and time to contact the manufacturer and find-out and record the expiration date of emergency products. These wrapped glow sticks, however, clearly show the expiration date -- a very convenient, time-saving and cost-saving feature.

Side by side. Brightest is freshly cracked. The other is after 24 hours. I used this as a nightlight and it holds up well. Bright enough for a small room without being overwhelming. Definitely useful for an emergency.

quite bright for the first hour or 2 then they start to dim (their radius decreases) however they do light up and are great markers for distance (think trail markers) great for emergency lighting however if you have no experience with chem lights (chemical light sticks) this will not light up a room nor are they designed for that. they will not replace an emergency flashlight however they are great to have around for emergency blackouts / power outages as there is no charging or batteries required. may even be a strong enough light for a small tent. but remember these are green not white so everything will have a green tint. these came with a slightly stretchable cord (a cord for each light stick) to be able to tie or hang i would say (without actually measuring) the cords are about 24 inches long and have a slight stretch to them.

I got these Friday May 29th at 2 pm and wanted to test it as a professional would test it for brightness and duration! So that customers would get a feel for what an actual customer of the product tested and examined over a period of time. Great Job to the Manufacturer and for Amazon for providing such a great product that really works as described. Update Today is Tuesday June 2nd at 2pm and its just a shallow light but still showing dimly. That's approximately 96 hours longevity; understand that 1st 24 hours its peak 2nd 48 hours in; its still bright but shows signs of getting weaker. 3rd 72 hours in; its still visible but definitely getting weaker. 4th 96 hours in; Weak but still a faint light. With my test and examination of the product; this Emergency GlowStick would be my "Emergency Go Too" I will probably do this test again but with pictures at 24 hours in, 48 hours in, 72 hours in and at 96 hours in; to give you a visual!!! These work very well. High visibility in daylight and that much better in darkness. They maintain good luminosity for 15+ hours. Good construction with no leaking. Mine arrived with 18 months of shelf life remaining. Pleased with this product.

These glow sticks exceeded my expectations. They’re very bright - much brighter than I anticipated for emergency glow sticks. Even better, they lasted well beyond the advertised 12 hours, which gives me confidence they’ll perform when I really need them. I keep several in my car emergency kit and some in my home preparedness supplies. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reliable emergency lighting!

Great for Halloween! I bought in October 2024 to give to trick-or-treaters and they were a big hit! The light was nice and bright, lasts well into the next day and I love how they come with the black cords so all you have to do is double knot the ends. Other brands I purchased didn’t include cords so it was a nice surprise. My stash lasted through Halloween 2025 and the quality did not degrade. The kids loved them and they provided extra visibility at night. Will continue to repurchase!
