my review is closely tied closely with the photos I have added. the biggest thing that I use this paint for is my Mini's, and I find that it is perfect for adding a layer of life to them. I have tried to show off in the photos the different ways to apply the paint if you are painting a trench warfare style army/battlefield. it is a way to add texture to anything. if you look at some of the photos included you will see many different textures (from the light mud of the officer and retinue and the regular guardsmen), that is because the paint is textured and it feels like the paint was truly mixed into mud. it can also be added to just add texture, in the picture of the artillery piece, I have a small layer of mud on the floor boards, and even though there is no difference in the color, there are a massive difference in the texture. all the bases I had used on the minis are bare basses with the mud and a touch of grass, any and all shapes and differences on the bases is just the paint, basically remember that the paint is thicker; which helps because it feels more like mud. I hope this review helps a little while you are thinking what is possible, even if not written the best.

I have been building models for 40 years but have never done a diorama. I recently had a client that wanted defeat of his robot model muddy. This product did it perfectly. All you have to do is layer it on as thick or thin as you want. If you think you put on too much it comes off very easy. I also liked that after it was dry I could use water-based washes to have darker colors in the recessed areas giving it even more depth.

This is the best mud look alike I have ever found. This stuff is great. I might be putting it on too thick because I'm almost out, or maybe the bottle is just tiny for big projects but I love this stuff.

This stuff is really great! It looks like real mud and dries hard 24 hours later. You can add a glossy varnish here and there if you really want a wet looking mud. Highly recommended.

Looks like manure sadly when used with other muds or grass. Best for on top of vehicles not basing unless you have a farm scene with poo....

I used it for the road wheels and the underside and this product is great! I'm hoping they have it in other shades because I will use it often in the future.

This stuff looks and feels like ... well, mud. It glops on nicely, I find "fingerpainting" works much better than brushing. It is VERY durable once dry ... once it has set there aren't many options! If you're using on tank parts, careful on the sprockets and idlers ... this sets like cement. Love it

Endlich angekommen gut wie immer

Seriously impressive stuff. Looks like mud, goes on like mud, but dries hard. I've used it on my scale crawler for some muddy sides and it's perfect. I didn't treat the plastic at all, just slapped it on there and it went hard nice and quick.

Husband paints Warhammer figures. He said this was good stuff to help make the bases a good "messy mud mess". Takes a little time to set but that gives you time to play with it and some pizzazz.
