Great watering bulbs
These are awesome. I still recommend regular watering but these do a great job as a kind of helper while you’re at work and can’t be home to keep the plants watered.

Saved my plants!
I bought these when my family was in town and I’d be away from my apartment for more than 3 days. These managed to save my plants! I don’t think I did it right my first two tries though. I stuck it into the soil and caused some soil to get stuck in the opening, trapping the water inside the pipe. So I’d suggest to NOT stick it in aggressively, but rather gently place it in the soil, if that makes any sense 😆

They are ok, but just ok.
Don't think of these as slow watering devices. They will go through all the water in a day. Also, they are soft plastic so do not use in extreme heat areas like Arizona, as they just end up becoming bent to where no water is getting to the plant. I bought them to for two reasons, I had a gnat infestation, and wanted to water the plants while keeping the topsoil dry. They helped with that greatly. I also was hoping to slowly water my plants when I left for a long trip. This product failed in that regard. I feel they could be designed better to slow the watering process down.

WARNING: Fire Risk Outdoors, you'll need to paint them!!! Other than that, good product.
I bought these after the glass bulbs from Home Depot snapped and broke on me. These plastic ones are more safe and durable, but one downside I discovered: One caused a fire outdoors - filled with water on a hot sunny day, it acted like a magnifying glass and burned some dry foliage underneath it. Luckily, I smelled the fire and was able to put it out. The globe is charred and the stem melted, but it's salvageable. I pulled all of them out and of the ground and have spray painted them all white now to reflect the sunlight.

No from me dog
I saw the reviews that people struggled to have success with these but I tried anyway. I tried a lot. I tried a lot of angles and levels and techniques, and I couldn’t really get any of them to work more than once, if that. The small ones seem to leak out water immediately, and the larger ones sometimes do, and sometimes go slowly enough that you wonder if it’s working correctly or just blocked by soil again. The big ones are large enough that they might knock over your small to medium plant if you try to angle them to get a faster drip. The small ones are small enough that they barely hold much water at all. I’m sure it’s possible that someone could kind of luck into some kind of system that works for them using these. But it wasn’t me. I certainly wouldn’t trust these over a vacation without testing them, and also learning yourself how they work for a few weeks first. One dirt clod when you’re filling it the morning you leave and you don’t notice because you don’t know what it feels like, you’d be coming home to a dead plant. Try to use one that perhaps for some manufacturing defect just won’t hold water and you didn’t test it first? You’d be coming home to a dead plant. They are so cute, and smaller than the terracotta bottle spikes i have used successfully before. It’s a shame they just… don’t work very well.

Easy way to maintain plant hydration during absences
I recently purchased the Pynqdfu 20 PCS Clear Plant Watering Globes to help maintain my indoor plants when I travel, and they’ve been a game-changer. The set includes 20 clear plastic globes in various sizes, making it easy to match the right globe to the size of each plant pot. The globes are simple to use: just fill them with water, insert the spout into the soil, and they gradually release moisture as needed. I’ve found that they effectively keep my plants hydrated for up to a week, depending on the plant size and environmental conditions. The transparent design allows me to monitor water levels and refill them as necessary. While they are a convenient solution for occasional watering, I’ve noticed that they may not be suitable for plants that require precise moisture control, as the water release rate can vary. Overall, I’m pleased with their performance and would recommend them to fellow plant enthusiasts looking for an easy way to maintain plant hydration during absences.

Just OK; inconsistent in their operation
Bought these to set in some of our houseplants before we went away on a two-week trip. They are sturdy, but far from "decorative". They are a good price for the number that you get. However, as some people have said, sometimes they clog and don't work potentially jeopardizing the health of your plants. So here's what we did to play it safe: - Only used them in potted plants that we knew would last for more than two weeks without watering - Set them up two days before our trip to see which ones didn't dispense water into the soil by the following day - Those that were still completely full the next day, we pulled them out, washed them, and poked them in the stem to clear out the clog - Re-set them in the soil the night before we left When we came back, about 80% of them were completely drained, so I'd call that a success. A couple of them were still full, so they didn't drain at all. Only negative besides the ones that clogged and didn't properly water the plants is that their rate of draining is totally "random" and unpredictable. If your soil is very compact, they probably will clog and not drain or drain very slowly for instance. If your soil is very loose or full of roots or twigs then they will probably drain very fast, within a day or two, rendering them useless also for long trips. My recommendations would be to try something else and more reliable, like the Blumat Classic Plant Watering Stakes which we also bought and which work very well: (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0001IOZ98?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1) So would I recommend them: NO. They are just too unpredictable to use for long absences. We'll continue to use them as a supplement to the Blumat stakes for "less important" plants that we're not too worried about, and we'll probably use two of these globes for those pots just in case one clogs.

Handy gardener's helpers
Just the thing for when you'll be away from your precious garden pots for a few days. Easy to fill and insert in each pot, or more than one if you think your special plant will be extra thirsty. These ones hold 80 mls of water (some others have half the capacity) so you can go away knowing your favourite plants will still be alive and thriving when you return. Excellent, affordable product!

Works good
The odd time you have to poke the dirt out and position a few times to get the water dispensing right. Once that is good though the waterer works perfect.

Recomiendo
Están hechas de muy buen material, me encanto que tuvieran diferentes tamaños porque en mi caso si tengo plantas de diferentes variedades y puedo adaptar el auto riego en base al tamaño.

Over-watering, difficult to fill-up, and no free shipping to return.
The material is not flexible making it difficult to fill with water through the holes. The balls are soaking the soil too much: - bonsai trees developed fungus on the surface, indoors, during the early spring, in Ontario when the air is dry - fig tree and money tree started dropping leaves - bamboo shoots that were growing in the same pot for 7 years started to yellow out The seller offered 20% discount to keep the 100% unusable product. There is no free return and a shipping label requiring postage was provided instead. Shipping the item to Quebec from Ontario is likely to cost as much as the product itself. In other words you bought it - you own it with the overwatering consequences.
