It's been called the Strangest Secret ! Buddha declared that, “The mind is everything. What you think you become.” “You become what you think about all day long” is how Ralph Waldo Emerson expressed it. In The Strangest Secret , the only personal development recording ever to receive a Gold Record, Earl Nightingale reveals that the secret is “You become what you think about." Using that principle, you can create an entirely different world than you live in today. Bruce Lee returned to the United States at the age of 18 with $100 in his pocket and the idea he often quoted that "As you think, you become." By the time of his early death a scant 14 years later, he had become a major motion picture icon and the father of mixed martial arts. Your subconscious mind is responsible for just about every major thing in your life. You don’t have to consciously think about breathing, your heart beating, walking, or how to properly digest and metabolize the food you eat. Without the cooperation of your subconscious -- the deep recesses of your inner self -- change can be difficult to impossible. You might consciously have tried to lose weight. But if your subconscious mind was fixated on fattening food and how difficult exercise was, the experience was probably a challenge or a dismal failure. Therefore, changing one or more aspects of your life can’t occur until you affect change on your subconscious. In You Become What You Think About: How Your Mind Creates The World You Live In , Vic Johnson will take you step-by-step as he shows you how to harness and use the power of directed thought in your life. Review: You Become What You Think About - You Become What You Think About by Vic Johnson, a compelling guide to the transformative power of thought, action, and emotion in shaping your life. Mr. Johnson is an international expert in goal setting and host of the popular TSTN show Goals 2 Go. He is also the Founder of TheChampionsClub.org, AsAManThinketh.net, and Goals2Go.com, This new thought/self help book was written in 2014. The book features nine engaging chapters designed to captivate readers from beginning to end, leaving no room for disappointment. Blending timeless wisdom with practical strategies, it delves into the powerful relationship between the mind and the reality it shapes. Inspired by figures such as Buddha and James Allen, the author, Johnson, presents the mind as both the farmer and the soil—where the conscious mind sows and cultivates thoughts, and the subconscious nurtures them into the outcomes of our lives. By harmonizing thought, belief, and action, readers are empowered to take control of their destiny. Here are my concluding thoughts: The book’s timeless message, “You Become What You Think About,” inspires readers to take charge of their lives, one thought at a time. Whether you seek personal growth, professional achievement, or a deeper sense of fulfillment, this book serves as an essential guide on the path to becoming your best self. Is the book memorable? Yes. Need I say more! Rating: 5 Stars Review: A Worthwhile and Well-Written Book - I am really enjoying this book and have already implemented several suggestions I read in it. It is also well-written with a nice flow to each chapter and topic throughout, something that is often lacking in reference books of any kind. Some of this material I did already know and was using previously, but even in this respect, I found some good reminders. I always know that a reference book is of value for me when I am continuously highlighting passages while reading along. This is certainly the case for this book. There's a lot of "added color" on the pages already! :-) I know I will come back to refer to those highlighted sections again and again. Recommended! VERY INTERESTING BOOK
I liked this book very much as it's well written, clear, concise, and easy to apply what is learned. Without giving anything away, one of the principles that really opened my eyes is that change must take place in the present. I also liked the part that explained how and why one thinks differently from the viewpoint of head versus heart. Also, I appreciated the section on a person being brave enough to act when one accepts the fact that changes must or should be made. I got this book for free, but I think it's well worth paying for. There's a lot to be learned from this little book.

We do.
We all become what we think about. That is the power of the mind and spirit. The end, beginning and all of it. I recommend this work if you have doubts about that. I do not.

Getting Way Past the Obvious
This book gives a different slant on the ways of thinking that I thought I knew--and yet I wasn't getting the desired results. He clarified several places I've been stuck in. I especially like the end of chapter assignments. Vic Johnson has done it again! He has taken the wisdom of the ages and made a compelling, yet easily understandable guide for us to follow. While easy to understand, when you think about it, it will require some work to make it yours. Many thanks, Vic!

Great Reference Manual
The handbook I needed to work thoroughly through "As A Man Thinketh". Highly recommend to be a constant reference manual.

A Great Student Giving Credit Where Credit Is Due
Vic Johnson's success today is the result of him being a driven, determined student of those who came before. Combined with his own experience, Vic has made this material his own and reflects that mastery by his direct, no nonsense writing style. If you're a music fan and hear a song you LOVE By a contemporary singer, and find that the song was written decades earlier; you'll want to check out the original. Vic will also be the first to tell you that these ideas aren't new .... and, as if by coincidence, one of his earlier works reflects his thankfulness for those who taught him ..... http://www.amazon.com/Self-Help-Books-Personal-Development-ebook/dp/B0076E8C4O/ref=sr_1_10?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1405896980&sr=1-10&keywords=Vic+Johnson

Practical, life-changing advice
Vic Johnson is not elaborate. He is not wordy. He is practical and straight-forward and that is exactly what his readers need. If you want a very applicable book that will change the way you go about your life, give this a read. I read it over 8 days, one chapter at a time and it got me to where I needed to go in my inner life.

Yes we can
