I LOVE that this hat is not made out of really thin, flimsey material. It is thick enough to stand up on its own and looks great on anyone! It's also made to wear if you want it to look sort of crooked, you can shape it to where it will stay that way. Also, I don't have a big head, and it fit me just right. Someone that feels like they have a big head might find it a little tight. Overall AWESOME costume hat!!!

Got this hat for my 1st graders Dr. Seuss week at school. It was roomy on his head, and he have a pretty large head. So if you are buying for a kid smaller head the hat will be way too big. The hat quality is good, it looks nice and stay up well. It lasted all day on my sons head and it still looks like new! I would definitely recommend this for anyone!

Worked for the Halloween accessory I needed. The hat came packaged flat, so to be expected it had creases and fold marks from being shipped flat. I had it out of the packaging for 2 weeks before needing to use but the creases were still there when I wore it, not a deal breaker and probably could have steamed it to make those go away. The structure did hold up well and stayed upright when on my head which was a good quality feature.

This was the perfect hat for "dress up as your favorite book character day" at school. My son (7 yrs old) wore the hat all day! It did come with a mask (not mentioned in the listing) The mask is a bit creepy looking but the price point is right on!

I really love this hat. Every year my 6 yr old's school celebrates Dr Seuss's birthday with a week's worth of activities, so I was looking for a hat that would fit well now as well as in the years to come. Even I was able to comfortably fit it upon my head! The material is a stiff cloth or felt like material, very durable and unlike some of the cheap nylon stovepipe party hats on the market. The hat smooshes flat for travel or storage, and pops back out, unwrinkled for wear. Great value!

Perfect. My son, who is 7, wanted this hat for Dr. Seuss Day at his school. I was worried it would be to big, but it fit him perfectly with some room to grow. So, I would say the hat would fit a child or adult. It arrived on time, very quickly, and just in time. Since this was something my son just wanted, I told him I would pay half and asked him to make a $10 donation to a charity of his choosing. He chose St. Jude. I think this is a nice way to teach children about donating/helping, and to also be rewarded for their good deeds.

We used this hat for our staff photos as we prepared for our Dr. Seuss theme for the next school year. Most of the staff had to perch the hat on their heads as it was small. It is the perfect looking Cat in the Hat hat but needs to be made slightly larger if you are going to expect adults to wear it. Worked okay and it was cheaper than other similar hats. If you're on a budget, it would work for a photo but if you expect to move around in it, you'll need something bigger.

Definately not the quality of material i expected. Cheap and much smaller than defined in the ad. The other thing is it won't take back it's shape.
