Fantastic fit for my slim, 15 year old Son who is 5ft 9 and 28inch waist. They look great on and being the Levi brand, you know that they are a quality item that will last a long time (or until he grows out of them, again).

Bought for my 6 year old son that struggles to get jeans to fit being tall but having a small waist. The 511s have a great fit and come with adjustable waist band. We struggle with other jeans with adjustable waist as when we adjust the waist tighter the shape of the jeans get ruined. This hasn't happened with these jeans and even though we need to pull them really tight for him they still look great with no bunching up. Then denim also has a good quality feel to it and the colour is a nice dark blue. They do have a chemical smell to them at the start but this smell seems to be on all denim these days. Will definitely be buying some more especially with the try before you buy feature.

I bought 2 sizes - age 10 and age 12, for my 10 year old son (I would usually order a size 10-11 from other stores). The age 12 looks huge and definitely won't fit him. They haven't been tried on yet, but the age 10 looks like it will be a good fit. I wouldn't consider them very slim fitting, either. More of a straight/relaxed fit, they don't really taper in much.

Bought for my 12 year old son. They are well made as you would expect from Levi. They have an adjustable waist which is perfect for growing boys.
