I wanted to hang some blinds over a window that had two sections that open with crank handles. I was afraid the blinds wouldn't be able to hang right due to how far the handles stuck out. These wore perfect replacements and had a much lower "profile". There was a set of inserts that matched with my original handles making these be able to turn and open my windows perfectly. Very happy I found them. They don't interfere at all with how my blinds hang.

These come with multiple fit options which are easy to use - just confirm the insert that you need before putting it in the handle itself so you don't have to struggle to get the insert back out. I bought multiple colors with hopes one of them would match my older Anderson windows champagne-type color, but they don't have one that matches, otherwise I would buy more. Price here is comparable to the big box store.

I had roller blinds that hit my window crank handles - problem solved with these! They popped right on. Sure, it's faster to open the window with the longer handles but I open and close the shades way more than I open and close the window.

This was a total waste of money. The casement window tee handle comes with various plastic adapters so you can fit it to various sizes of crank. We needed 11/32 diameter; after trying a few of the adapters several times because none felt like a perfect fit we settled for #1 as #2 was a tad too loose. It was hard to install- #1 was too tight, #2 was too loose. After that we turned the crank maybe 5 times & the plastic adapter completely stripped inside and the tee handle stopped working - it just spun. The inside plastic piece was all stripped. We couldn’t use any other adapter bc the sizes we had left in the kit were not the ones we needed. Look for metal tee handles from Prime-Line. They’re 100% metal. Great quality and similar price. We bought them from Amazon and loved them. However Amazon only offers 11/32 in white. The Prime-line website has more colors & sizes.

These crank handles are sturdy aluminum and easy to install, but the inserts are plastic. I used them to replace some older Andersen casement window crank handles which stuck out too far for the installation of plantation shutters. They worked well until my husband used too much force when turning the handle. Our windows are very old and difficult to open, so the threads on the insert got stripped and became unusable. On newer windows, they may be fine. Good fix for the money, though. Wish the inserts were also aluminum.
