Review: Hard use pouch as an add-on to my backpack - This pouch has been a life-saver! I bought a 511 Backpack with MOLLE webbing and thought “I should get a pocket that can hold my iPad mini so I can be hands-free while I'm walking around”. This pouch couldn't have filled the job better! This size pouch is perfect to hold an iPad mini and I also use it to hold one food item (a bottle of water, a take-out container on its size, a bag of chips, etc) as I'm walking around. The size is smaller than 1 plastic shopping bag, so if you're wanting to accommodate a full-sized tablet or a few items I would recommend going one size up. As for the construction and build quality: this is one of my first maxpedition pieces and I'm thoroughly impressed with it. I've used it for months with no visible signs of wear at all.
