I'll give this a five star for minimalism and encapsulating the big parts. However, please note that this book is dated 2020 and the guidelines change January 6th of 2026. This book will help you get the hang of the major stuff though that still remains on the updated guidelines.

I used this alongside the PTCE Pocket Prep app to help me pass the exam. This book is good for annotating and understanding just the bare basics of what you need to know GENERALLY. The rest of my knowledge relied on what I studied with the Pocket Prep. Studied both for about a month and passed with flying colors. Overall, I do recommend this book, but there are certainly free alternatives you can use to study. I just like this one because it condenses a lot of important info into a few pages. Good luck any future exam takers!

I absolutely loved this book !! I saw this book from a girl who was doing a review on TikTok & they said how that book helped them study & pass the exam the first time which lead me to buy it on Amazon & saw reviews as well so I purchased it with high hopes 🤩 This book is so easy to read & gets straight to the point & the way it’s structured is amazing ! I honestly do recommend it . Along with this book, I went on YouTube and looked up Amanda pharmD who also has great study resources for the PTCB exam (please check her out, she gets straight to the point as well) The 2 thing I would add onto this book is 1 mock ptcb test with 90 questions & a few practice math questions rather than sample questions (don’t get me wrong they were helpful but I like to try them afterwards)
