For me it took 30 minutes on a lotus grill on full heat (using room temperature water). It produced a full cup of coffee, (the quality of which will depend on the grounds you use). I don’t think it should take quite so long but if you’re camping and not in a rush, then what’s the issue? There are other alternatives out there and there is always the trusted thin kettle and Instant grounds, but if you like a strong cuppa and don’t mind the wait then I would recommend this product, it also looks awesome and packs away neatly ### ⭐ As beautiful as utterly useless *by K***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 December 2019* This beautiful to look at coffee maker it is a coffee maker only in name. It is apparent that whoever designed this product put a lot of thought into the way it was going to look but once you tried it you cannot help but wonder if they actually thought about testing it! You fill in the lower chamber up to the valve put in on a source of heat and then wait and wait and wait. When the water finally starts to come out the amount that actually comes through is so little that the coffee starts to burn in the upper chamber before and IF some more water comes through. You can easily make strong coffee for four people with this thing.
