Good construction. The gasket that makes it waterproof is integrated into the foam tray, I have a competitor version where the gasket is a nice silicon gasket fully integrated into the lid rim itself (makes the tray fully optional. Extra star for pelican providing a pressure equalization vent. Nice touch. Downside is the vendor wallows ad nauseam about its history in the product description . Quit stroking your fond memories of the good old days it does nothing to cause a sale. Better yet delete that noise and put in a link to your first class product sizing web page that lists all your excellent offerings. That web page allowed me to size what I needed for my electronics project with ultra professional accuracy. It has internal box dimensions!!!! Awesome!!!
