Well Built. Fit great in my '81 k10.
You'll need to drill holes in brackets to mount spakers- as expected. I drilled a hole in the top tab to secure. Great product! Bought foam baffles to put behind (10$) 6x9s sound so much better now that they're not facing the back of my seat! Excellent value & product.

Decent little brackets required some mods to make fit the 1977 with mid mount belts
Similar challenges to others with the mid mount seat belts on a 77. Thanks to those reviews was able to get the ideas to modify these which wasn't particularly difficult but a little tedious. Had to both notch the top corner as well as cut an inch off the bottom to center a 6X9 properly. I also benefited from using the spacer rings that came with the Pioneer speakers as the depth is limited for a full size 6X9. Note: I found that the fit wasn't perfectly snug on both sides. I used a couple pieces of noise deadener to get it both sealed tightly and firmly mated to cab corners.

Good thick quality steel. Almost or is thicker then the steel in the truck. Very impressive will work for what I need with minor drilling for speakers . Fits in nice
