Great value for the price
Additional update: I just busted out my old Plantronics M155 and listened to it for a bit and I have to say that I actually like the sound of the Toorun much better now. The Plantronics has kind of an annoying sharp treble sound compared to the Toorun and I definitely prefer the Toorun at this point. I've bought 4 of these so far too so I know it wasn't that the headset sound is improving over time like I mentioned might have been the case below. The Toorun is definitely better sound quality than the Plantronics and I never use the equalizer either, no need at all. Great headset, nice build quality, excellent battery, very nice sound quality, couldn't live without it. Update: I have to say that it seems like the sound of this headset has improved since I first got it. Maybe it's just my perception but it doesn't seem like it. I have read how more expensive headphones have a burn in period where the quality improves with use but I've also read that this is a myth, possibly they just get used to the sound which is maybe what happened with me. But the quality sounds good to me now, not as good as the Plantronics headsets but still plenty good. I hardly use the equalizer anymore unless the audio stream is particularly off with its own sound quality which is almost never. I haven't used the equalizer in a long time, no desire to and I'm really happy with the headset. ---------- This review is in comparison to the Plantronics M165, M70 and M90 headsets. About 10 years ago I bought a used Plantronics M165 headset and realized it had the best fit out of any headset I've ever tried. The sound was excellent as well and the only difference between the M165 or M70 and M90 is the battery life as far as I could tell, the sound quality seemed the same. I bought this Toorun because it has the same earpiece style as those Plantronics headsets, and the Toorun rubber earpiece is 98% identical to the Plantronics earpiece. It fits the same, has the same firmness and feel, there are just a few tiny visual differences that you have to look close in order to see. They obviously copied it which is a good thing. With me at least this earpiece stays in your ear perfectly without the earhook, I have never used the earhook one single time with any of my Plantronics headsets or with this headset. It's very comfortable and a lot of times I forget it's even in my ear. The sound quality is not as good as the Plantronics. It is good and decent however and with phone calls the lack of quality is less noticeable since phone call audio is usually poor anyway. I mainly use these headsets for listening to podcasts and radio and sometimes music. This audio is higher quality so you can notice it lacking from the Plantronics, however if you use an equalizer app it makes up for most of the difference. Sound quality after using the equalizer is about 80% as good as the Plantronics. Without the equalizer it's about 50% as good as the Plantronics. The Toorun has good volume and bass but the trebel is weak and mids are off a bit, this can be corrected with the equalizer fairly well however. I recently broke my last Plantronics headset and I'm not going to pay $140 for another one which is what they sell for new at this point since they have been discontinued and are rare. And I absolutely have to have a headset with the same earpiece style so this Toorun headset is an excellent value and I would buy it again any day. Battery life is plenty good. Build quality is great as well for the price. The Bluetooth range on the Toorun is a little bit better than the Plantronics, and another thing I like about the Toorun is you can pause and play audio using a quick press of the power button. Battery life in the Too Run is also excellent and seems like it lasts longer than the Plantronics but maybe it's just my perception. It doesn't have a battery life indicator which is a negative but seems like it never dies. The equalizer app I would recommend is called "Bass Boost" on the Google Play store. Some of the other ones I tried didn't work or didn't work most of the time. The bass boost app works great and also stays in your pull-down menu permanently even when the app is closed so you can toggle it on and off easily and this is important because every time you pause your audio or switch audio sources like to a different podcast, the equalizer will be disabled. This is because of the way the Android operating system works, every time you start an audio stream, the programming requires an action to apply the equalizer which is why you have to toggle it off and on each time. I think there is one app called Poweramp that might apply a system wide equalizer effect which would not need to be toggled but it costs $7. It's not a real big pain to toggle but kind of.

A solid performer that you can afford to replace when you lose it!
The TOORUN M26 replaced my trusty old Jawbone after it was misplaced for the nth time. With Jawbone leaving the market, I concluded they must be loosing share to lower cost competitors and started looking for alternatives. The M26 reviews looked good relative to the price, so I decided to give one a try. I've been using the unit for about a month. Construction appears solid and the fit works well enough for me. Pairing was easy. Blue LED's flash intermittently on the external face when the unit is connected although the light display I could do without, particularly when driving at night. One minor annoyance. My unit announces "Connected" at random infrequent intervals and for no apparent reason, even though it never seems to disconnect. Incoming call quality is clear, although I wouldn't want use it for music. I've had no complaints from callers but I left myself voice messages to judge outgoing voice qualify and noise cancellation. Voice quality seems acceptable from a car with background low frequency road and engine noise but the microphone is sensitive and the single microphone design seems to do little to suppress the sounds of background conversations, airport announcements or my dog barking two rooms away - but what can we expect at this bargain price! My iPhone is set to announce callers using the contact list. This feature works well but it would be even better if either the iPhone or M26 had the ability to announce the caller's number for those not in the contact list. Perhaps I'm missing something but I've not yet figured a way to make this happen. In summary, if you're looking for a budget headset that gets the job done and that you can afford to step on, drop down the toilet, feed to the dog or misplace from time to time without crying, the M26 might just be the answer to your prayer. I'm happy with my purchase and with so little invested, won't hesitate to upgrade as/when TOORUN introduces updated and improved units.

Love it - AND - Hate it!
The Quick Review: Clear sound, good battery, good size, terrible controls. The Longer Answer: I use a single ear Bluetooth everyday for both work and personal calls and audio. I lost my last bluetooth, it's no longer being made. I looked for a new model. I want, clear sound, noise cancel, smallish size but not a bud, able to stay in my odd ear shape, easy to pocket, and easy to turn on quickly, long battery life, quick recharge, standard cord connection to charge, less than $25 (I lose them or wear them out so I don't want a large cost or big brand). My small oddly shaped ear gets tired of Bluetooth wearing so I keep it in a quick access pocket with power off and turn it on with my thumb while putting it into my ear when phone rings. This Bluetooth looked like it would qualify for all of my wants list. I ordered. Out of the box it seemed perfect. Smooth, sleek feel, smallish size, connects with the new USB style, clear sound, good volume, great battery life, quick recharge, only thing was the on/off switch was part of the answer call button. Ok, I can get used to that I thought. I can push a button instead of a slide switch. 3 seconds to turn on. 10 seconds to turn off. push to answer. got it. WRONG. I have used it daily for over 6 weeks now. And I regret not sending it back in the 30 day window. WHY? Yes, I can get used to a shared on/off/answer/redial all in one button, BUT MY POCKET CANNOT. This thing will CALL PEOPLE FROM MY POCKET! When it went into my pocket in the off mode. At first I thought I didn't turn it off. Then I started making extra sure it was off and I saw the red off light blink before pocketing. And now I KNOW WITHOUT A DOUBT it will absolutely redial your last call when in a pocket. Simply bump that button enough by simply walking or making average movements and it's on and calling. TOO MANY Friends, Cutomers, Family, have overheard my in person conversations when I didn't know it because they got pocket dialed by my Bluetooth. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY A DESIGN DEFECT. It needs a separate off switch that is not the same as the redial button. If you don't mind accidentally calling people and unknowingly letting them listen to your personal conversations from your pocket, then try this Bluetooth for added excitement in your life. If you don't want that type of excitement, FIND A DIFFERENT BRAND.

Terrific Value
There's a saying we know all too well: "You get what you pay for". Because it's such an exceptional value, this little guy seems to defy that adage. Sound quality is clear-as-a-bell. And more importantly, The people on the other end on the line think the sound quality is great, too. When I think of all the dough I squandered on other headsets (from big-name manufacturers, to boot) for just mediocre performance, I feel gypped. Over the years I've owned MANY of Bluetooth earpieces, and this definitely gets the job done. Granted, the packaging is nothing to write home about, but who cares? The accompanying pamphlet isn't flashy, but tells you what you need to know. I unpacked this and gave it a full charge. And by the way, it holds a charge for a long time. Initial pairing is quick and effortless. When its powered on, a voice (female) says "Power on...pairing...connected. And you're good to go. And you can listen to music through this thing. Granted, it's not a Bose...but it is what it is. As Bluetooth headsets go, you'd be hard pressed to find a better value. For the liabilities: There is no voice dialing, or noise cancelling. The ear loop is flimsy and has a tendency to pop off. Granted, if it ever gets lost, you can use this without it...(but that's lame). When you power this on, a little female voice says: "Power on. Battery high" - there's a beep - and then she says, "Connected". Interestingly enough, battery power is always reported as being "high". The only way you know it's time for a recharge is when this fails to maintain a connection...which can be damned inconvenient. Keep in mind: That little female voice won't tell you it's time to charge - or that you should brush your teeth twice a day, or wait a half hour after eating before going in for a swim. It doesn't nag. ...Which I guess could be listed as an asset. Just to play it safe, I charge this every week - or perhaps fortnightly. I depend on my earpiece quite a bit - and after almost a year it continues to perform like a champ. I'm waiting for it to crap out, but for now it's tip top. If, down the line this thing starts to act up, lose performance quality, become seedy, and turn into a general nuisance, I'll let you know. But as of today, I'm good. In the end, I'm pleased to recommend this. When I'm in the market for another Bluetooth earpiece, this is probably what I'll get.

Great value for money and awesome features!
First of all, let me mention, I was very unsure about this purchase as I live on a tiny island in the middle of the Indian ocean, which makes it expensive and difficult to send faulty products back home. In the case of this little headset, I was very pleasantly surprised. I LOVE it! Here's why: - Long lasting battery - Short charge time (I do recommended you follow the instructions and let it charge 1hr to 1h30mins before first use) - Voice information on battery status at turn on and connection/disconnection status. - Easily connected to my iPhone and android via bluetooth - has a wide range before disconnect (easier for me when I move around because of work) - great sound quality ( I hear very well and people I have spoken to have given the same feedback saying sound was clear and with very little background noise - Holds on to your ear tight. I have moved around a lot with it and it stays put. Like solidly put. What I didn't like: - If you have small or sensitive ears, the inner piece is quite large and may be uncomfortable. That being said, it is made of soft materials so it doesn't hurt. Just discomfort at the beginning. I got used to it after a few days. - The ear it is inserted in can't hear anything. It's not really a bad thing, since it makes it easier to hear the caller but it does make for a sometimes uncomfortable sensation so be warned. - It doesn't come with a little protective box for putting away so worried it might get damaged when not in use. Overall, I consider the product ideal for my budget and very good quality for price. The negatives aspects are minimal compared to the benefits and really just being fussy here. I have and would recommend it to anyone who needs a headset.

it's a fantastic headset and perfect for the price
The "noise reduction" bit is hard to pin down in that it's a one-ear headset. That said, it's a fantastic headset and perfect for the price. Pros: - comfortable grip, and the thing doesn't budge unless you want it to - the ear hook swivels, so you don't have to detach and reattach it if you want to switch ears, which would wear out the snap connector - simple to set up - i prank called some companies i hate today to test the call quality (i really did this because screw those guys) and incoming was crystal clear. apparently, so was outgoing. this is a good way to spend $18. Cons: - again, hard to tell about the noise reduction. but it's a bluetooth headset. if you wanted noise reduction, you wouldn't be here looking at bluetooth headsets. you'd be looking at beats headphones or whatever so you could spend $200 on something that costs them a quarter to make. - the LEDs are a nice touch for when you're charging it but unless you have like a shrimp eye on a stalk or something it's not going to do you a lot of good when you're wearing it, because this headset is mostly designed for humans, whose eyes are on the front of their heads. it does make the headset pretty though. - i found out there's a red one of these. so i might end up in a bluetooth headset crip vs. blood gang fight. ...this last point is just a bad joke. ignore it. this isn't really a 'con.' i just wanted to have a round 3 and this is the best i could come up with. it's so awesome i could only think of two quasi-legitimate 'cons' for the thing. if you're having a gang fight over bluetooth headsets, just give them all to me and i'll draw up a treaty so we can have peace in the streets, and i can be the leader of both your gangs.
