World Pride® Folding Stable Durable Wig Hair Hat Cap Holder Stand Holder Display Tool

So I’m not sure exactly when I bought these but I’m sure it was more than a year ago and I’m just leaving a review.. but I still have and use the wig stand. Its perfect for storing or drying wigs on. I do not recommend for styling wigs because it has very little hold on the cap. But its great for its purpose and its lasted a long time with me!

Product comes in two pieces which easily snap (and unsnap for ease of travel) together to make a fine wig holder which will air-out the wig when not in use, which makes this better than a thick styrofoam wig head which doesn't let the wig "breathe" properly. A clever, handy, useful and BETTER product for travellers on the go who wish to air out their wigs between wearing...Plastic makes it easy to hang the wig after it is washed right on the wig holder with great ventilation. Folds flat. NICE idea! Worth the reasonable price too.

I think calling this a "Folding" stand is incorrect. It does't fold, it's two pieces you slot together and take apart when you wish to store it. It's also very light, you couldn't put a long wig on this and let the hair hang off a table, for instance, without the whole kit-and-kaboodle falling to the floor. My main complaint is that it looks like it came incomplete. The circle attached to the top of the stand to add stability and strength, I never received. For the price and a quick temporary solution, it's good enough.

I ordered a couple to hold some wigs I have for a show I'm in (theatre). They're pretty cool. They arrive in a flat package/condition and then you have to piece them together (they come in 3 parts) but it's super easy to do -- you have to look at the pic because there are no directions (at least, not in English). Very sturdy for holding my wigs but I didn't give them a full 5-stars because they are a little off-balance when they're standing on a tabletop. Not anything to make a big deal about, just 3 of the 4 legs touch the table base and the 4th leg is about 1/2 inch off the ground. And it was like that for all of them that I ordered, not just the one. Again, no biggie, it did the job just fine for such lightweight construction (I had 3 different wigs of different weights/lengths -- no problems holding any of them). I would've given them 4-1/2 stars but this system doesn't do fractions. :-)

Not great. The plastic is very thin and hard to get snapped together. There is a top ring that snaps on, but it doesn't stay on, so the prongs that stick up, where it snaps on, pulls at wig hair and caps. It works good enough, but not what I expected, and it took a very long time to receive this from China. I didn't realize it would come from China, as I checked Prime two-day shipping on my entire order. I wish Amazon would give us a way to filter out items sold from Chinese suppliers. Every search I do now pulls up nothing but products coming from and manufactured in China. Most of the brands are brands that I've never heard of. I will stop buying on Amazon and go to department store sites instead, if this issue isn't resolved soon. I don't want anymore items directly from China.

I highly recommend this folding wig stand from World Pride. You can't beat the price ($1.99 and FREE shipping!), and the quality is far more superior than the one I bought from Paula Young Wigs, which was too thin, too lightweight, had no stabilizer ring at the top, and cost about 3 times as much! The only thing about it is: no instructions in English, but you can figure it out though, can't you? Just keep in mind that those tiny little prongs located on the stabilizer ring don't snap onto the frame. All you've got to do is push the ring down onto the 4 cut-out corners and be done with it.

When it arrived the product was in a bag inside an Amazon box. The bag was open and the ring that goes around it to keep it in a round shape was missing. Lately Amazon has been sending me missing and damaged products. As far as this product it is light weight and flimsy but if I had the missing ring, it would work perfectly for putting my wigs on to dry.

At first I thought I may need to stand on my head to put this thing together. But after using a little logic, it went together just fine. This is the first time I've ever bought a wig stand like this. I figured it will be good for airing out wigs after wearing them. Or good for drying wigs after washing them. I know I will use it for drying and semi-blocking my knit winter caps. It's a pretty pink and sturdy enough. I also have the Styrofoam type that I prefer to use for styling. It did take a long time to get here because it came from China. It was packed securely in large strips of Styrofoam packing and arrived undamaged.
