Can I use this product in sliding doors?

How does it work? Are you going to post any pictures of it in use?

They work great. Seems like it would be easier to break a window than to try to force a window that is locked with two of these. Simply twist them until they begin to tighten to window frame, then clamp them down. They tighten the rest of the way when you clamp them, a lot like vise grip pliers. I'm adding two photos to help.

does this come with 2 pcs in a pack? or this is only fr 1 unit?

Luckily, I saved a packaged pack for back-up. The USB on it says 0 49793 09809 2, and it is indeed a 2-pc packet (which states "Fits 1" wide rail"). The cam locking mechanism also makes re-placing the lock easy.

is this somthing that can keep my 6yr old from the window all the way or could it be easly removed by him

That seems like a loaded question. When I was 4, I figured out how to put a kitchen chair next to the counter. Climb on the counter and hoist myself to the top shelf of the cupboard to retrieve a bottle of Flintstones vitamins. I subsequently ate the whole bottle and had to have my stomach pumped. Kids are smart. Nothing is completely kidproof. Having said that, it depends on the type of window. Does it slide left to right or up and down? Mine slide up and down, and a child would have to be tall enough to reach high enough to unlatch them.
