Will it discolor light tan or beige leather jacket?

It does but not in an unpleasing way. I had a saddle colored couch that got pretty faded and ashen, it brought it back to nearly new. You can expect some petina and natural inconsistency but it doesnt wholesale change the color. Id say 10% darker/richer with a pale. Brings it more to the light side of medium. If target color is lighter than saddle I think Id be real careful.

It says use on smooth leather. My recliner is natural leather. Texured. Is this product good for my chair?

I would think this would work fine on leather with some texture. You may end up with product in the crevices, but it will soak in just fine. I have used it on leather with a pebbled finish and had no issues.

Does this product contain any petroleum based chemicals?
