Purist Wall-Mount Lav Faucet Trim

Fabulous trim! They look great. I bought four for my current project and have purchased this same faucet trim before. A few points to remember - the rough valves come with cardboard tubes that you are supposed to leave on the rough valve during construction since the rough valve is buried in the wall. The idea is that you finish the wall right up to the tubes and then the trim will cover the hole. Nice in theory but in practice it is pretty tough to cut a mosaic tile or even cut three holes in on tile so that everything is perfectly lined up. The trick is that you can let the tile or stone or drywall hang into the hole more that the cardboard tubes would allow. So the tubes work good to protect the rough valve but when it comes time to finish the wall make sure you have the trim on hand and you will see that you can allow the tile to hang into the hole somewhat.

We have mostly Kohler Memoirs components in our home. We couldn’t find matching for this project but this worked out well. You can always find parts for Kohler faucets, and we learned that you can not rely on the big box stores store-brand faucets. A little pricey for Kohler but worth it for both function and aesthetics. Keep in mind for this model that you turn the knobs a little differently for hot or cold.

We used this faucet for a master bath remodel. We used two of these faucets for our double sink vanity. We wanted the faucets mounted on the wall to create more counter space. Looks great and works well. Remember to buy the Kohler ceramic valve that is installed in the wall.

On 8/1/2020 I purchased the Kohler K-T14413-3-BL Purist Bathroom Sink Faucet Trim, Matte Black. Unfortunately, some of the merchandise arrived damaged. One of the faucet handles and the spout arrived with several nicks. One nick is deep enough that the underlying gold is showing through. The pieces were packaged individually, and the box included bubble wrap. I now question the durability of the finish. I contacted Kohler directly, but I was told that I need to handle this with Amazon. I tried to do a replacement with Amazon and was told that they cannot offer replacement at this moment.

I can't say enough great things about this faucet. I have it in my powder room and it's such a great statement piece. The water flow is nice and soft. The only con is how expensive the valve is. The color is just what I expected, subtle brushed gold, so stylish!

The description is somewhat mis-leading. The "ceramic disc valves" and "solid brass construction" mentioned in the description are for a separate part, K-410-K-NA, that you need to order with this kit.It's otherwise a decent enough trim kit, though it's a little pricey for what you get.

arrived and the box within the shipping box was unsealed, damaged, and dirty. the item itself has deep scratches and dents all over the surface of the spout and handles. totally unacceptable to sell this as a new item at this high price point. huge waste of time and resources to ship out, then have a buyer return a damaged and used product like this. this was sold by amazon directly, not and open box, used or second party. very disappointed.

Great quality and look. Unfortunately it's a darker shade of brushed gold, more reddish. Does not work with my bath and shower faucet shades , had to return.
