If you have to be outside regardless of the weather conditions during winter, this product will potentially save you from having to visit the nearest hospital.Let's talk about the product. It looks simple and that's the way it was designed. If you need to drive a vehicle or walk inside a building/store you can (fairly easily) move the cleats to the top of your boots/shoes. I'll be honest, you'll have to get used to it, but after 2-3 times it will become easier. The build quality is top of the line and made for industrial/professional requirements. Of course, if you go out of your way to walk on pavement with the cleats, they won't last as long.There's two main reasons why I decided to purchase this. First, I injured myself after falling outside (nothing too serious). Second, I recently had to call EMTs for a relative and I noticed they were using this product. They were able to quickly move the cleats to avoid damaging the floors inside the house. I didn't get a chance to ask them about it, but luckily, I found the cleats on Amazon.
