Utilisé pour une enfant de 9 ans et 1/2 qui est hyper anxieuse et TDAH. Pour les nuits en extérieur, je cherchais une alternative à la couverture lestée qui est lourde et encombrante. Après 1 premier essai dans son lit, elle ne veut plus s'en passer! Cela ressemble à un grand tube de lycra que l'on enfile sur le matelas. L'enfant se sent en sécurité dedans et comme c'est un lycra extensible, elle peut se mouvoir beaucoup plus facilement qu'avec une couverture lestée. Sur un lit bas, il s'enfile avec aisance. Par contre, ma louloute a un lit en hauteur comme un lit superposé, et du coup je galère vraiment à l'enfiler. Maintenant à voir dans le temps si l'élasticité ne deviendra pas trop lâche...

This is a brilliant sensory aid for anyone with additional needs or anyone who might struggle with sleep. I am an adult who is autistic and I sleep very little however this compression sheet is really helpful especially in the summer when it is too warm to sleep with a weighted blanket. It is a bit of a pain to try and get it onto the mattress as mine is very heavy but once on it stays put. The material is soft and slightly stretchy too which is nice and it feels sensory friendly too me. I used to struggle with sleep walking however this keeps me in bed and it makes it more difficult to get out of bed. This offers much lighter compression to a weighted blanket so if the person doesn't like the higher level of compression and tightness this might be perfect for them. It offers gentle reassurance and comfort during the night for any sensory seeker who might want a small amount of compression. It helps me to feel much more relaxed and calm and regulated which therefore helps me to sleep and keeps me in bed through the whole night. This is also easy to wash in the washing machine and this dries quickly too. It gives you a little bit of compression without feeling like you're trapped which is great and this is one of the few double sized ones you find. The material is thin which makes it perfect for the summer months and is a great way to regulate a sensory seeker whilst in bed.

I am so pleased with this sensory blanket! My 3yr old daughter absolutely loves it! I bought it to use as a top sheet and it perfectly fits her IKEA Minnen bed (Currently on the toddler setting.) My daughter is about 35.5” tall and 27lbs, and this sheet fits her and her bed very well, with plenty of room for her to grow and stretch out. It is lightweight which is perfect for our warm summers, and pairs well with a comforter on top of it. Just wanted to make a note that the end of the sheet is open, so if your child is taller, their feet may stick out from under the end, but it still does an excellent job of providing just the right amount of gentle compression. My daughter loves to be cuddled and “snug as a bug” in her bed, and this sheet has really helped her to feel safe and secure, while also helping her sleep better through the night! I’ve washed and dried it several times now and it’s held up well so far. It is very easy to stretch around the mattress and to take on and off. I highly recommend this sensory sheet, and I definitely plan to purchase more in the future now that I’ve seen how well it’s worked for my little one! It’s definitely all the comfort of a weighted blanket, but without the bulk and heat!
