Will this work for non-threaded shift levers, such as vw gti? I see it has the screws the pinch it on but want to be sure before i buy it

Great value for shifters without a thread!

Got this for my 2011 Mini Cooper Base with a manual transmission and it fit perfectly. It's a touch smaller than the stock shift knob and weighs slightly less but both of these are fantastic additions to the R56 shifter in my opinion. Feels very solid and it fits all Mini R56 shifters. I would highly recommend this product as a budget option to replace a worn out shift knob for a shifter without a thread!
