Update; I heard from company but they didn’t explain how to use different modes, only that it had them. ###### I will return. Description states multiple modes, what I received only has 1, on and off. The light is bright but not as bright for brown eggs. Waiting on reply from manufacturer, will return if I don’t hear from them. It works but not what I ordered

Didn't work at all
I ordered this candler when I realized the one I've been using for 18 months died on me. I definitely needed a rechargeable one, which is part of why I chose this one. When it arrived, I tried it and it didn't work. Realizing the battery must've not been charged, I put it in the charger. That alone was difficult, as it kept popping out a little and not stying connected. I finally got it to stay and within 30 minutes, the light was green, as if charged. It still didn't work. So I put it back on the charger, and it took about 6 hours for the light to turn green again. Unfortunately, it still does not work at all, and I still have no candler to check how my last hatch of the season is coming along. I would suggest spending a little extra to get a better quality candler, because this one was simply no good.
